IMO this is actually the ideal beginner last layer method, that I've been teaching my friend. This, along with the T and Ua perms for PLL are essentially ideal to transition to CFOP while having little algorithms.
Thanks so much Brody! BroLL has allowed me to transcend the laws of time and solve the cube in negative 2 seconds. I fully expect to place first at my next comp with this method.
Bro, you helped SO MUCH. Seriously, OLL was my least favorite and slowest split in my times, and with this new technique, I genuinely think I'm approaching world class level. Seriously, thanks a ton, I'd highly recommend this to literally anyone.
Sooo, for everybody that is skeptical about this method, trust me, it is an amazing method!!! I just tried it out, and I've been practicing it over and over. I was averaging 22 seconds and now I'm averaging 15 seconds. This helped a lot. You may be skeptical at first, but trust me, it is an amazing method worth learning. Thank you Brody!! This helped a lot!!!
Yo, this method actually works! I discovered it about a month ago and ever since I've been practicing, my times have dropped by 10 seconds! This is absolutely insane thank you for making this so I can improve even more!
You convinced me to watch more. I've tried to learn oll pll for years but I always memorize a few algs and end up exhausted of cubing. That leads me not to solve for a while and I forget the new algs. Good vid
This is an amazing technique, All of you new cubers don't learn OLL this is a much better way. You will be much faster and your cube will break in faster so that means no lube!
April Fools in the Cubing Community is the best thing ever 😂 On a serious note though, I love this video, the editing combined with the amazing humor is top notch You’re an absolute hero Brody
You know, not for nothing... but I am not a speed cuber and I used to solve the cube by positioning all of the bottom pieces in the correct spot, then orienting them. I recently picked up cubing again and started learning CFOP with 2 look OLL and am almost done with learning PLL for now. I taught my daughter my old way before learning CFOP, and now wish I didn't. This is actually a really good transition to CFOP for her. So even though it may be inefficient and a "joke", it actually works and I might use it to teach/transition her into CFOP. Thanks!
This was the basic solving method that I learned and been using for the past 17 years! (Cubing on and off). I never bothered learning any other permutations for OLL and PLL. So far my fastest time is 27.91 seconds using Cross > F2L > and this basic method 😂 P.S. I promise to learn more permutations in the very near future. I am starting to speedcube again in 2024!
I had been so excited to learn OLL that as soon as I memorized the algorithm, I closed the video right before the end, A.K.A. the part where he said don't actually do this. It's been 2 years now and I'm an average 15 who uses BroLL and I only came back to this video to make this comment. Thanks Brody.
Tysm bro, i put all my time, sweat, and effort on OLL after knowing F2L i need to learn 2 more OLL and PLL but for me OLL is the hardest thank you! Now I can solve it faster and less thinking I can now train to be a good cuber Tysm😊
I know, that this is supposed to be an April's fools joke. But I still think, that it is a good starting point for learning full oll. I counted 20 cases, that can be solved efficiently with only these two algorithms. For some cases you have to combine them, for others you have to add up to two setup moves and for others you have to use variations like the fat sune. And of course you must be able to mirror and invert them. On a first count, this gave me no less than 20 cases.
This is unironically a good method for beginner OLL And for beginner PLL I would recommend Jb perm for a corner swap alg (although T perm works well too) and any MU alg U perm for the edge swap alg
It's literally the same method I made up some time ago to teach my lazy (I mean, energy efficient) brother how tho solve the cube. Still, it's great that you shared, thanks Brody
Thanks bro you gained a sub I literally see j perm video and many other person's videos But I couldn't remember OLL but after I watch your video I know the steps to do OLL

1 corner ( put in front left ) 2:08 / no corners solved ( no yellow stickers on front face ) 2:08 / 2 solved corners next to each other ( put on right side ) 2:08 / 2 solved corners opposite ( front right and back left ) 2:08 / this is just for my learning 😃
I can compare u to Einstein and Newton, not because you're a genius, because you did the same method they both did. They just manipulated some formerly discovered rules and got to a new sort of rules. I have done OLL millions of times but didn't actually think about re-doing one formula over and over to get to BrOLL. Nice job bro. Respect from Kurdistan.
