Tymon's CFOP course is designed to take you from the start of CFOP all the way to the most advanced level of solving. The course covers cross and x-cross techniques, every F2L case from every angle, all of Tymon's OLL and PLL algorithms, pseudo-slotting, and all 328 of the ZBLL algorithms that Tymon uses.
In this video, Tymon shows what the course has to offer by going over 5 areas of F2L solving that hold people back from improving. By the end of the video, we hope that you'll have a clearer picture on the next steps to take to improve your solving!

I think the main reason I'm not improving at F2L with Tymon is we're very far away from each other
😂
😂
first thing I thought when I saw the title lol
😂
Lol 😂
honestly, we need some more stuff from Tymon.
Tymon roasting other cubers in the Cubicle and Patrick was hilarious and honestly it taught me a lot of things
Agree
Something tell me you're being honest
Fr there were a lot of algs very useful
Bro that sune idea at 1:52 is dam innovative
you can actually do the sune without the U at the start and just insert with a U2 and that will save two moves
Fr
Proud to say I use sune/antisune for that case both sides at the back or when the pair is at the front and I need to insert it at the back
@@aubreynyoni150 nice I've never heard about this before
@@usamathecuber258 ive only known abt the anti sune...
Yea ik that sounds silly
Never been so politely roasted
😂
true 😂
Tymon is such a cool guy.
8:58 bros eyes rolled back
The help that we always needed from Tymon.
This video was insanely well done by everyone involved 🙌
We need tymon to do a pseudo slotting tutorial next.
Why is bro always on the verge of laughing 😂😂
I was thinking the same
happy
Great Lesson.
Thanks THCBL and Tymon
The last part he mentions reminds me of why Tymon does a fist celebration when he gets just an average time for him, but with an incredible solution and/or technique.
I know that tymon probably wasn’t involved in the pricing, but £160 is a joke
Fr
To be fair u dont need a course,yt has everything already
@@Biryani2op by that logic there is no point in him making a course in the first place, yet he has, so I have every right to criticise it. I’m sure that it is filled with useful information and insight, and I wish I could afford it, but for 99% of people it is unreasonable to spend that much on becoming a bit better at playing with a toy. But yeah, TH-cam videos are mega useful.
@@Mdd099If it's not worth spending money to get better at playing with a toy, then all sports lessons are a waste of money. Essential? No. But could be entertaining.
I remember an Olimpic Athlete that had youtube as coach lol@@statmango
Like at the point where i needed it lol. The cubicle coming in clutch
Thanks, Tymon. It inspires me to practice!
I was waiting for this
This is so helpful dude!!!
Listen I understand tymon is literally one of the world's best cubers, so I was expecting a relatively steep price for his course. But $200 is just outrageous lmao ($150 with this tepmorary discount)
fr, I was shocked when I saw it
Contrary to the democratic spirit of cubing. Only a small percentage of cubers worldwide will have the means to benefit from it.
I think it is super cheap.
@@ReinierS I'd imagine that would put you very firmly in the minority globally.
If you compare the price with courses of worlds best at other hobbies (like instruments for example) its actually pretty fair
Can't lie, the old intro was lit.
This is an excellent video, thanks.
Need more Tymon content
Tymon politely and formally roasted us like a true cubing gentleman
😂
Wow😅😂😅
maaaaaaannn, now this is why tymon is my IDOL
zam this actually helped me especially the sune technique there
This is awesome! I assume this is why Phil was leaning cfop yeah?
9:25 bro is describing me trying to practice 3blind
And good luck to you Tymon
Hi Tymon, I have a question for you. Why don't you do 3x3 OH? Pls answer and keep up the good work.
i needed this
9:40 was really inspiring especially coming from Tymon.
Once I saw this video I decided to make a drill for each thing he mentions like I tried to predict cross plus 2 and I got some success and some fails but I realize how effective this drill is ! 😊
Like right as after of doing this drill I got a really good 3x3 average
Tymon, you deserve to be well-compensated for sharing your advice. As for me, I learned enough from this single video to drive the next six months' improvement. I'm mid-20s when I'm sharp, but I don't measure it much (which strangely, you recommended.) I know my weaknesses (Cross +1, F2L efficiency), which have held me back despite knowing 1-look OLL and most of COLL. I could afford your course content, but I feel like that would be like hiring the best Sherpa to summit Everest despite being a complete amateur mountaineer. I would pay you $50 for this ten minutes. That's what I used to make in an hour tutoring graduate students in Statistics...
i just finished food still hungry . want to eat more ......
7:39 If you can look for your second pair…
Xuanyi: 😂😂😊
I would be happy if there was also a Roux Method version.Thank you tymon !
I've not been dabbling in cubing content since last year, WHEN DID TYMON GET A HAIRCUT
Bro he got a hair cut like 1 year ago xd
This video has a unique cubhead + jperm mix style.
new intro, nice
We want Tymon in more cubicle 3x3 videos!
This recomendation was oddly specific, just started learning f2l
"perfect lookahead is kinds rare" is crazy coming from tymon
I wish there was a course like this for roux
3:16 One Piece mentioned let’s gooo 🔥🏴☠️
Does anyone know what cube this is? It sounds awesome
PERFECT video for me
I would love to sign up for this course, but it is too expensive for me to be able to do :(
New vid lets goooo🎉
I watched this video then immediately smashed all my 3x3 PBs
Which channels to learn optimal F2L solutions on TH-cam?
Where can I find out what algs tymon uses for free?
isn't the f2l case at 1:56 just sledge then insert? unless I recognized it wrong, sledge is much more intuitive because it just brings up the corner
Does someone has Tymon's Cubing. Gg course. If yes please can you share the course with me.I really want to learn from his course but I couldn't afford it. Please
0% YAPPING
100% FACTS
Tymons voice is soothing for some reason.
Tbh Tymon is the best 3x3 solver in the world imo
Why do you change the theme song
I don't have much free time to dedicate to it but just signed up for the course anyway. Most of it is way over my head and Cross + 1 won't take me minutes or hours, it will most likely take me decades! 🙃🙂
Hopefully signing up for the course will help support Tymon in his future endeavours 👍
If you have purchased his course and you don't have time to take help from the course. Please would you share the course with me i really want to learn from Tymon's course.
@@user-sz3rt1lx7y I do have some free time to look at the course but not a lot of time. I don't think it would be the right thing to share the course after I have purchased it for a few reasons. One being it's a paid for course that has just released, TheCubicle and Tymon put a lot of time and effort into putting the course together, so I think those interested should pay for the course. I understand it is prohibitively expensive for many. I would only consider sharing it with a friend who was in my physical location, that is sitting in the same room as me, next to me. If that is something people can do I think they could purchase the course together which would work out cheaper and they can learn together.
Anyway I will however share some initial thoughts on the course. I think it is generally well laid out in general and easy to follow along. I think it will be more useful for beginners and intermediate cubers than it would be for the more advanced cubers although advanced cubers might get something from it such as the Pseudo Slotting, ZBLL sections. It also covers a few OLL alternative algs to give you a ZBLL case but this is limited, only a few cases. It covers the Cross, F2L, OLL and PLL for all levels reasonably well. Most of the course information and algs are available on other sites for free so can easily be learned from these other sources as well, it is just well compiled into one course here. There are also alg sheets that can be downloaded for OLL, PLL, ZBLL...
There are a few areas where I think it could do better. It doesn't cover the Sune and Anti-Sune ZBLL cases as far as I can see. I think the reason for this is that it was mainly recorded a year or so ago when Tymon ( had long hair) maybe hadn't learned these alg sets himself. Maybe these will be added in the future, who knows!? I don't think it covers Key-Hole techniques although that may be covered with the Pseudo Slotting. Again who knows!? I know nothing about these techniques. I would have liked to seen more examples of setting up OLL cases to ZBLL when it is a good idea to use these or not. Also a section on pairing, inserting last F2L pair to skip OLL or force a Cross. Also a dedicated section where Tymon discusses the ideas more in depth with example solves, when and how he decides on whether to employ some algs over another or different techniques over the others. This would have made the course more personal to Tymon. I also have a hard time believing that Tymon uses some of the F2L's he shows in his completive solving, he may just be recommending them as they are more convenient to learn but who knows!?
Just some of my initial thoughts on the course. As far as price and whether it is worth it I think it all depends, there are a lot of factors and variables to consider. It will be worth it for some and not for others. My personal circumstances were such that I could afford to purchase it and also wanted to show some support for Tymon. I'm sure I will learn some things from the course that will hopefully help me improve. My F2L definitely needs some work! I currently average 23 seconds (sometimes sub 23), with a PB of 11.6 seconds.
I'm sure others that have purchased the course will have their opinions, I would love to hear their thoughts as well! Hope this helps 🙂👍
Just throwing it out there that my boy got hit hard with a glow up 💯
Could you guys review the meilong 6 and 7 v2s? I've only seen smaller channel with worse video quality reviewing them
meilong 7 v2 is just as good as if not better than the aofu (depending on opinion) when florian modded according to big cube server
Love Tymon’s new look
I average sub 15 so this is a very good useful tutorial for me ❤
Tymon please do a pseudo slooting video next a more tips tp be sub 15 and advanced cross tips am from sri lanka i need to take your course but in sri lanka it is tbe price to take a car
we need a zz method course
Just bought the course and it isn’t showing up. The website keeps saying I’m not logged in and I haven’t received any emails with confirmation. My bank account says the payment went through but I have no access to it whatsoever. Anyone else having these issues?
Thanks for letting us know, we’re working to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else! Your account should be working now. If there are any further problems, shoot an email to support@cubing.gg
It’s working now. Thank you!
1:28
for this case i would use R' D' R U' R' D R U R U' R' or U R' F R F' U R U R'
RU is fine but i do think R U R' U2 R U' R' U R U' R' is better than what tymon showed
1:41
the alg was good but U2 R2 U2 R U R' U R2 is faster slightly
11:24
idk why you would use eo for recognizing if an edge is correctly connected to the pair but it works i guess
for ajacent pairs i would just check if the stickers dont match to see if the edge is correct. for opposite pairs i would check if the stickers matches the opposite color
As somebody who has tried this course, I can confidently say this is the BEST way to improve at cubing. I would recommend it to everyone, as anybody can learn tons through it.
150 bucks is ridiculous. Many cubers who would benefit from aren't even 18 years old. Pure profiteering.
Eh it’s a fair price considering what he’s offering if you don’t wanna pay for it that doesn’t mean it isn’t good for other people
@@skwebjacobnot fair for the majority of young cubers who won't be able to afford it.
@@accesscrimea how is asking money for your efforts "not fair"?

Nice video.
GGs!
tymon my best speed cuber I'm a big fan...
“If you have perfect look ahead” …

Tymon will do CFOP in blind folded.
i have this course, and i have noting but amazing things to say about this course. It has taught me many new things, and the allowed me to improve so much. It allowed me to drop my average from 8.2 to 7.3-7.5 in 4 months. This is an insane course and I highly recommend it!
wasnt the course just made?
@@crazybug9597 no, it was made about 6 months ago and I got access to it about 5ish months ago. Tymon was probably fine tuning parts of the course until he was happy with it.
@@crazybug9597 I know right 🤣Very fishy indeed.
@@crazybug9597 before the course was released to the public, Tymon asked me to try out the course. I got the course about 5 months ago
@@crazybug9597 Tymon wanted me to test out the website before releasing it. I got to test it around 4 months ago
Omg new intro song!!!!!!
I wish that I could get the course but I don't have enough 😥
I can’t even watch these videos yet I’m still learning to plan cross entirely
is that new intro music?

Please tell us the model of cube used in this video; the sound of that cube is so satisfying 🙂
I think it's Gan 12 Maglev Uv version. It is well setup that's why it's sound so good
“Tymon's GAN12 M MAGLEV UV 3X3”
It was in the description; I had to press “more” to find it on the telephone 😊🙂
@@TranscendentalistCultureNice you took so much less time to realize that 😆
Have you purchased Tymon's course? @@TranscendentalistCulture
Bro blessed all of the cubers with this course. Thanks Tymon for this. Maybe I can become sub 8 soon cuz I really struggling to get it even tho I average like 8.3 secs. So maybe I can purchase this thing.
And again thanks for it🙏
I am happy with beginner method... my head is spinning right now..
Nah bro it ain't that difficult
This is just the advanced stuff
Intuitive f2l is esy to learn especially if you use broodies's flow chart
Is the course permanent or for a limited time?
thanks you 👍
The reason I don’t improve is because I dont practice
so what is sticker '4' mean?
I thought he use '2'...
magic.
To who is this video recommended to sub 20-10 and more, or it can be used by sub 25 cubers too?
Which cube he's using
“Tymon's GAN12 M MAGLEV UV 3X3”
The description has a link to his specific setup to purchase 🙂
His using gan12
7:21 he is just messing with us 😂
Yeah. I was like, there is no way Tymon missed something that I saw easily 🤣🤣🤣
The new intro😂
The reason Tymon is teaching us all this is cuz he wants more competition 😂
