The coloured pieces of glass are dry glazed into a double layer of glass. No tack fusing or sticking the pieces together. The online course goes into detail about lots of techniques, including these painting and textural techniques shown in this video. 🙂
I love all the ideas for texture! Thank you! I must try dipping pens, clove, and lavender oil too. So far I’ve only used water and gum arabic. I tried the Reusche medium and I made a total mess with that. Not sure what I did wrong with it. Ugh!

Yes, do try the clove/lavender oil mix for pen work - it’s really good. The Reusche oil medium does take time to master for sure 🙂
