This was the first game I ever went to, standing in the gallowgate with my dad when I was 7 😀 I can vaguely remember it. Thanks for uploading 👍
Big Les unbelievable, he turned out to be my favourite player when he made the switch to us haha. Never seen a player as good in the air until Ronaldo recently. What a player

I was there that day, I'd driven up from where I was living in Durham. Foolishly I had A QPR sticker in my car window and some Geordie git spat on it!
I always thought Jan Stejskal was a very underrated goalkeeper.

This was one of the greatest Rangers performances I've ever been lucky enough to see. Think I was about 10 or 11.

He didn't go to Newcastle until the middle of 1995.

@@sandcastlejim Why does he never get mentioned among the PL's top strikers? Absolute tank.

@@BroskiRIP good point - he should do. maybe because he never won anything. one of the best, certainly one of the best English ones.

@@sandcastlejim For me it's Henry, Shearer, Yorke, Ferdinand, Fowler, Aguero, Kane, Van Nistelrooy, Vardy and Ronaldo.
Rooney and Cole just miss out, as do Cantona and Suarez for not playing enough seasons, and Defoe and Owen for never getting 20 league goals in a season.
