What a comeback this was!
I remember watching it live on tv, I was only 17 years old. Now I'm already 43 years old. 29 years of supporting this football club all the way from Malaysia. I'm still waiting for trophy.. I believe Eddie Howe will b the man to end our team looongg trophy drought

Our 4 - 3's were built on classically terrible Newcastle defending and I loved it! Now that I'm older I much prefer the 6 - 1's and 8 - 0's. So much kinder on my heart 😅

I remember watching this, at my parent’s friends house. We all went crazy for that Shearer goal. good old days. Nowadays we get mauled by Bournemouth.
Remember this game so well! Shearer was anonymous for 75 minutes, then he scored a hat-trick!
Atleast five of these goals would be ruled out by VAR these days.
This is what I miss. The uphoria of that winning goal. Now, same thing happens, but hang on everyone, lets stand around for five minutes whilst VAR checks a player collision 30 yards away that happened 2mins before the goal

Only the toon can produce such heart attacks and thrillers. Rob Lee was magic with his final ball delivery. What a goal for the winner. Shearer's shot power is only rivalled by Gabriel Batistuta's.
