- Ever wanted to mountain bike across Wales? Then why not join us on the Trans Cambrian Way?
The Trans Cambrian Way is a long distance mountain bike route that snakes its way through the heart of mid Wales, and climbs over the oldest mountain range in Europe, the Cambrian Mountains.
We like to guide the route over three days, staying in very friendly public houses along the way. Your evening meals, transfers of kit, transfer back to the start in Knighton are all included in this amazing journey.

I met Polly and a load of bikers in the upper Marteg Valley. Yeh the Hafren singletrack wasn't all there back in 1998 when this route was being researched..
It’s not quite on the bridle way further down, Yamaha Enduro School cleared the upper part, and put in another line. Nicer than the the forest road Jeremy.
@@mountainbikewales5663 I'd assumed it was Geraint . I ought to check it and then get the route altered. I know Polly from somewhere too. It may be she rode my Roughride at Kington, or from one of the Llany cafes when I was doing river surveys in the area.
