The speed duel decks are honestly one of the few ways I get to play with some of my friends that would otherwise would never touch regular TCG yugioh, so I appreciate having Speed duels format.

We're actually getting a mini-box in September so they're going to twice a year updates. I'm glad they're at least keeping up with it since it's a really fun little format that has side events at YCSs and such.
That is good at least. I think quarterly updates would make it more interesting for a lot of ppl

Speed duel really lets us enjoy older cards in a simpler way. I think it's a good format to keep in the $30 range with set items and not having booster boxes like they tried with the DM era

You gotta admit that for a speed duel product this brings back a lot of nostalgia from the gx era, and great value too.
This is one of the best ways to have that OG Yugioh feeling for every Yugioh GX fan out here. It's very cool that you get a bit of every Gx character in this set :D
They should just make a new format that plays like the game used to. The best way to to this is to not print super staples like MST warrior lady ect. That allows room to print situational magic and trap cards with more design space. In the past 90% of cards in a set were invalid because they are worse or conditional versions of existing cards. They were forced to power creep and go up rather than sideways.
I like speed duel. It's a really nice way of playing a simplified version of the game and I really like seeing classic anime cards in these decks.
Wow, the Warrior Lady looks SO CLEAN.
If I remember correctly, the speed duel boxes have the deck themes all together in the right order but one of the stacks is "extra" cards to swap out some of the deck cards with different strategies. And since they don't go with any certain deck they just put them in a strange order.
This product is super cool. I love how it brings back the old cards/format for people who don’t like the new stuff. Those secrets were also so beautiful hollllaaaayyy
Speed duel boxes are great for bringing back that good old anime nostalgia! Seeing this opening made me want to re-watch GX tbh

I really like the fast back to back duels I can play with my friends using the speed duel format. Also these secret rares look amazing.
Despite them being a yearly release, I always am compelled to buy them.
I usually buy one, and host a tournament with me and my best friends with whatever is inside.
And it's a blast! Setting aside the meta for a slower, simpler format is so refreshing!

Did the same too.. Except we play have a "random loaner deck rule". Everyone pick a deck box randomly without checking them. They can only look at their card during their match,winner proceed to the next round and they have to return the deck and pick another rotation of loaner deck with deck box switched. A hectic and fun game where everyone enjoy and has a chance to win.
GX was my favorite anime so its awesome to see them get their own box!
I Like how the speed duel products bringing back some of the old school gens like the og and the gx era.
Hoenstly this is just a great reprint set for so many cards. The fact dasher got a reprint for a card that hasn't been printed in ages is just great for anyone and the secret rares look so good and give cover cards that only way to get secrets are from buying the gx booster sets and now you can get them from here. Great product over all and hoping to get one in the future
GX is the best series for me and during that time I had the most fun buying cards and playing 😁💪 is always awesome looking at all those cards and remembering those good times 🙌

Very nice opening! Still waiting to get my hands on mine. The reason why some of the cards seemed to be jumbled up in your first pack is because those are considered to be more like extra cards of the set. They sorta did the same thing with the Battle City Box last time as well where you have all the 8 decks properly put together in order, and then the rest of other cards are put together with the skills into one pile. On the other side of the playmat, there should be a guide that gives you a list of cards in each character's deck to help you make them. Hope this clarifies it!

Speed duel does bring back a lot of nostalgia with the character skill cards and themes based on them. Keen on the GX nostalgia coming
My husband brought home the Battle City box on a whim one day and I've been hooked ever since. I did not play Yugioh back in the day, but I love playing this format. I do play Master Duel but honestly, I enjoy Speed Duel format more. I wish there were more support but I can't wait to get this! Thanks for all the great content!
I’ve never played speed duel but I love the look and feel of the cards so much better than the standard cards. Whatever coating they put over them makes the foil look better and cards just feel more premium to me.
I'm a big fan of the GX Speed Duel Box! That Secret Rare D.D. Warrior Lady looks amazing amongst many other great reprints.

Speed Duel is a fantastic little format, helps the nostalgia itch, and is really nice for playing with younger and more inexperienced players.
The second pack you opened contained all the extra deck cards for the various decks + random extra cards that are not a part of the pre-made decks. The other packages are the main decks for the pre-defined decks.
I actually really like the idea of these. The 8 decks and extra secrets is cool to do a sort of battle city type of tournament where to get the secret rare from the person to use moving forward when you win. Really excited to pick up some of these secrets
It's dope getting to see these awesome secret rares early, gets me hyped to have them in my collection
I got a battle city box last year and got all my friends into the game through speed duel, They absolutely love the format and I really like it too
Bought 3 to have a daft set to play on boardgame night with friends! Load of fun. The first packed you opened is all the extra deck mon and additional cards to make the decks stronger, also they are nods to other characters to in the show.

I love speed duels! I bought the battle city box and sleeved up the decks and keep it almost like a board game. It’s a fun way to teach people how to play Yugioh in a more simple format!
I really like the nostalgia of these and ease of play for some of us that don't play often
The one brick u opened with all the different fusions were all the extra deck monsters for each deck plus some deck extras if u wanna tweak the pre built decks.
Speed Duel was a fresh air when it appeared, like Duel Links, simple and quick games.
I think these boxes are nice because older players can have fun with them because of the nostalgia and it also allows the new players to start slowly and learn the basics without feeling completely lost

To explain how speed duels are sealed: They group 3 decks together, and then one of the packs is the extra card pack including the extra deck cards and more bulk for draft!
I actually like this set. The secrets are really cool, cheap way for you to get the cards you grew up playing. Gx was also my favorite series.
Speed duel is a great format for new players. Bought a battle city box and taught a bunch of my friends how to play. Plus the secrets are beautiful, can’t wait to get a set of cyber dragons

I love how it just includes a good majority of anime cards. Seeing the E heroes always brings a smile on my face.
This box is so fantastic. You get so many staples and good cards, with even some amazing secret rares and it's cheap.
gotta love them rarity bumps! Floodgate trap hole is my favorite trap hole, so for sure gonna have to get them secret rares!
One of the things I like about this product is that it’s a whole slew of pre-made decks. They’re perfect for parties with friends who know little to nothing about YGO’s master duel format
These Speed Duel products are great, because at the same time will be indirectly supporting Time Wizard and Common Charity formats providing old and common cards.
I think its a fantastic piece of art. I just love the artwork and the theme in the cards!

Speed duels are fun with my friends who aren't as into the game as I am, but like playing this as it has some nostalgia+simpler cards and rules generally. These boxes especially are fun to play in a little tournament with friends!
I like Speed Duel stuff, not collecting as much as vintage but I do like their existence.
As a YugiBoomer I really enjoy speed duel, seeing all these old nostalgic cards from duel monsters and GX really makes me happy and it's the easiest way to teach my friends how to play, also why are speed duel cards so much better quality than regualr tcg cards😂 Great video man!

The speed duel boxes are really cool in that they release new rarities of old cards! Like dd warrior lady, dasher, dekoichi etc

The decks come together. The first one contained the cards for Zane, Axel and the skills, the second one was all the fusions for all the decks and some miscellaneous cards, then there was Jaden, Aster and Chazz's decks all together as well and so on.
I love they added GOAT secrets like Don Zaloog and D.D warrior lady 😁
I like that these products are both new cards for speed duels but also nice upgrades/reprints for the TCG

Bro, let's goooooo! I like Speed Duel, and I was miffed by the fact that when I wanted to get back into the game in a form I remember playing after a ten-year hiatus the original Battle City box was selling for double retail. Being gifted this would be super legit. I've also got a buddy I play Magic with who is interested in playing Yugioh, and this would be a great way for not only me to relive the good ol' days of yugioh but also for him to learn the game from scratch. I've got a decent grasp on the modern game thanks to Master Duel and watching a bunch of yugitubers including yourself, but I can't throw my friend to the wolves and have him run through the tutorials and solo campaigns of Master Duel and then get smashed when people start going goblin mode on him in ranked. Old school simplified yugioh is the best place to start. GOAT LIVES MATTER! REJECT MODERNITY! RETURN TO FUSION DECK!
As an old-school player that hasn’t played since 2007, these products are a fun way to play again with friends without having to learn/teach the insanity that is the modern game.
These boxes are great for allowing new players to learn the basics quickly and still have fun with simple and nostalgic strategies.

Edit*: they are not mixed up they just go 1 deck after another, u oppened last one first so you got all fusions from all decks

Whenever i tried out speed duel i had a lot of fun. Speed duel with friends or with people who are new to yugioh makes it really fun to play instead of talking forever to just do one attack.

This product is really cool! This is the secret rare upgrade for my favourite card of all time- ancient gear golem. Ultimate ancient gear and all the cyber dragons are awesome too! In fact every single promo secret is awesome 😅

First time seeing a speed duel product being opened up I think it’s pretty cool the secret rares look pretty dope
I think of the speed duel box sets as board games. So the annual updates aren’t bad. They’re more to play for fun without the need to buy packs or update decks or keep up with the constant updates.

The speed duel format never really peaked my interest, but I like the decks and cards inside this new GX Duel Academy box. It sure brings back some fond memories.
