The T-50 feels almost like a proto-MBT, with good mobility, extremely good armor, and a decent gun for its tier
it is a child t34
I could say same for Panzer 3, because to me it feels more balanced. Its got Decent speed, Good gun, Decent armour, 3 man crew in the turret.
Basically the T34’s family’s youngest brother that is favored by the parents
Panzer 3 is better
If it had the 57 mm with a smaller barrel and faster turret traverse with less bouncy suspension it would be epic. But. It's not.
Now they have to match a modern MBT with the T-34's driver hatch

I feel like they had an inexperienced T-50 player using it,most of my encounters with that panzer and with me shoving a Shell through it's front plate and sending it sky high
All of those videos are staged you know? It’s a scenario, not a real gameplay.
@@charakiga yeah I know but I feel like they should use actual players instead of staging it like always, like imagine how much more that would spice of game if it was actual players doing it instead of just one or two of the devs
I use mine when I want to kill 6+ people in a match, in a low teir you bounce everything but bombs

To everyone saying it's rigged:
You are absolutely right a lot of the time! But I think the aim of Tank Versus is to showcase the pros and cons of various vehicles in an actual combat example. This was probably best demonstrated with the A13 vs BT-5, and I hope more episodes like that come out :)

Yeah it is for showcase purpose, but sweaty players with their "expanse military knowledge" (which they got probably from hacking a military database to show discrepancies on current gen tanks in WT) keeps on yapping like a karen on a black friday yelling at Walmart Manager for not giving her a discount
smh T-50 would have easily won with a shot into the hull

I don't think the pz 3 mantlet is enough to save it from a t 50
@@user-id9oi1py4t yea. i did some research and its completely bs the t-50 in the vid bounced anything because even at 500m distance its a instant death and can be penetrated everywhere frontally.
while t-50 can only kill the turret crew but again - pretty much everywhere frontally at 500m.
id say pz3L would actually win by just looking at the armour protection analysis
To me its really about whos in it, typical german main. Well you could probably faceplant into the keyboard and win, but if its a half decent one they will win. From my personal experience in the Panzer 3, i have never really felt threatened by a T-50, i can always pen them, you just got to be patient and wait for the moment to shoot, and a quick reload will make make sure your not caught too off guard. Though I love the Panzer 3 and have a lot of time in it, so much so i take it to higher brs to club T-34s, as i just shoot the turret, the Panzer 3 5cm gun has very good ballistics, making precise shots easy, plus i can shoot the hull if they are close enough or go through the non sloped part of the frontal armour (the part where it transitions from ufp to lfp), as theres no transmission to protect them.

@@goomba0072 the armor pen analysis in the hanger isn't accurate. Anyone who's fought t72s and t80s can back me up on that
Kinda surprising ngl cuz the T-50 has OP armor while the J1 has an OP gun
The panzer 3J’s gun is barely better than the T-50’s but the armor is good if angled which it didn’t in tusk weirdly

if it was 2 humans the t50 would win 9 times out of 10

Cant really say which vehicle is better than the other. Its all in the hands of the tankers that control the tank
Although we have seen some bias abilities like the BT-5 pouncing on the a-13, because both are capable of doing that to each other, this is suppose to show the true values of each vehicle without one or the other having a bias player ability or skill. No doubt a Pz.III j1 can top the T-50 in 4 out of 5 encounters. Range, turn battle, armor penetration and maneuverability. The T-50 really only has forward speed and angled armor to counter the Pz.III. Sure skill says the t-50 can sit and ambush a Pz.III or shoot it’s barrel, but this isn’t about skill

On the first round the act of flanking was completely unnecessary and on the second there's this cool thing called flanking which can't be done on Tank Versus. The fact that you can't flank is why the Breda lost to the Flakbus

I like how the Counter went up on German Armor when the T-50 bounced and on Soviet Ricochet when the German absorbed the shell XD
can you do the swedish rocket car (U-SH 405) vs italian heat lobber (r3 t106 FA)? yeah i know its kinda unfair but still i want to know both are almost similar just one has better reload than the other.
In the first round, the t50 after killing the loader should went to his barrel
Why go for a barrel when you can just know where to shoot.

I have shot t50 with 40 mm 20 times and the only damage was my emotion

Both are at the same BR and equally matched. Angled armor, good armor and a good gun
try the BTR-152A and M16/M13 to see who's the best, they both have good speed and a decent firepower

Staged, the t-50 would have easily destroy the Panzer III J1 by a APHEBC to the hull, it's only 50mm.

This is becoming less realistically based in game logic by the episode. Both rounds were easy t-50 wins but for some reason in the first one he decides not to shoot a second time, and the second match he used apcr for some stupid reason
the shell ricochet off the bloody fender.. it didn't even hit armor LOL, who knew russian fenders were so tough?
So the Tiger 1 vs IS-2 is next. Didn't you guys already made something similar

Back in my time, I drove the hell out of that T-50. I'm pretty sure the Pz. III was higher, so I ate up kills.
Don't know why but the t-50 looks like a mini version of the t-34
I didn't play WarThunder in years but I can see that the T-50 was driven by a absolute troglodyte
this. the only way you can pen a T-50 below BR 2.3 it's through the side armour, impossible to pen the front and the turret is tiny for its br inaccurate and small ammo

I would have won both of these battles if I was in the T-50
If the Is-2 hits the turret first of the tiger or a not angled hull its basicly gonna be the winner. If it misses, its slow reloadrate will be its death...
The tiger has to make the first shot count like the cheecks or the barrel of the IS-2 or the drivers weakspot
Gaijin keeps making it unfair, a more fair version would be a pz. IV with a long 75 vs a T-34-57
I think a better way to do these videos would be as you list the pros and cons of each tank, show highlights from videos like this. So for turret rotation, you can show the pz3 circling the t50. When saying the t50 has better angled armor, show the pz3 bouncing the 3 shots. Then put the pros and cons into practice with real people

This feels weird bc the T-50 could easily out turn it, and the Pz. III could easily target the cheeks of the T-50
the turret is always the disadvantage of the t-50 in almost every way. Because It has more flat armor instead of sloped but at the same thickness, and it has slow turret turn rate. It would have destroyed if it was in service any earlier in the war.
I was pretty surprised that the T-50 didn't pen the mantlet of the Pz III twice, which is usually its main weakness, but it is what it is.
If i was in the T 50 I would never play like that

I've seen the t 50 and tried to kill it, but you can't. But when you get it yourself you just get one shoted. But I love the pz 3 long barrel

Why did that t 50 AIM for his mantlet twice istead of frontal armour?
The T-50 may be a great tank,
but the pz.iiiJ1 is one of the best in game- for it's BR.
The pz can knock out the 50's turret crew right through its mantlet, even with some angle.
I once caught a char 2c bis shell (155mm) on a t-50s gun. Done absolutely no damage to the tank or even the gun! its an he shell aswell. :(

This isn't necessarily fair because it's only two battles also players don't follow the roads half the time anyway let alone two in one match also the didn't hide behind trees or rocks like I do then I fire when I'm mostly shielded

why didn't the T-50 try to shoot the drivers port on the panzer?
cause volumetric makes the shell hit it and then do literally nothing else

Just by the first round its clear that battle was either staged or the ppl doing that battle dont know how to play the game
who ever is driving that T-50 needs to be fired the T-50 can beat a Pz.lll anyday of the week

IS-2 vs tiger. Well 1 on 1 i would say IS-2, mainly because its gun can pen the Tiger anywhere even if its angled, while the IS-2 armour is better because UFP, cant be penned, turret is inconsistent, and can only pen LFP, not to mention overpressure from IS-2. Not to say Tiger doesnt stand a chance, if IS-2 messes up that first shot, its all over, at least it should be, or if Tiger can destroy IS-2 barrel
What would happen if….Pz III J1 Angles
on the first round: Shots to the leaders cupola, gun mantle or even the tracks would benefit the t50 more, the german vehicle could not load a new shell, so you get at the very least 2 shots to the german tank.
Hell, the t50 could even shoot the gun mantlet for a kill, why did it try to go around and expose its weak side? Really don't understand.
On the second round: that engagement favours the panzer J, no real gripes there from me.
these videos can get more frustrating than anything tho!!!!!!!!
