‘Cross Country Corey’ 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 I am anxious for spring and I’m revisiting lots of videos. 😅 Thanks for the inspirational video, especially with name tags on the plants ✌🏻
You’re really good at this and I enjoy how you put everything together. You cover all the bases without dragging on a subject thus enabling you to fill your video with more plants and include very through information on all of them. Excellent pictures as well, appreciate you naming where they were taken. Thank you❤ Best wishes from NE Oklahoma.
Wow another video I will have to watch again! Chuck full of ideas...thank you! I love all the photos you showed such inspirations! Please keep making your videos!
Oh goodness but looks what looks good up north is so different than what looks good here in Texas! Praying we don’t have the unbearable persistent heat this year. All that aside can’t wait to start gardening again
Plant and zone envy is real 😆 - I know I get it when I see what grows in warmer areas. The Dallas Arboretum has a well-respected trial garden that includes many of these annuals - maybe have a look at their reports to see what they recommend. 👍
I had petunias in a planter last year, have no idea what kind but I had to keep dead heading and then it got leggy. Do you do this or just leave it to do its own thing?
Most of the varieties I’ve dealt with in recent years don’t need more than maybe a midseason trimback to rejuvenate (and even that isn’t that common)… unless they need more light or fertilizer then they can require more attention.
That depends on the plant, but I’d avoid anything more shallow than 6” - giving them extra space will allow for healthy roots and will likely make it easier to maintain the moisture.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Did you find the plant didn't get to the size you were expecting or it didn't flower the way you thought they would... and have you had good luck with other Supertunias and petunias? Just trying to get a sense of what your results were so I keep my ear to the ground in case other people are having similar results.

I love how you labeled the flower names! It is very helpful when shopping! 🌸

Thank you - hope you’re staying warm in OK!
Love this! I realized that I have some of these saved in my house and will reuse outside in planters. This was an amazing compilation
Glad it was helpful!
Beautiful! I took so many screenshots and I hope to duplicate some of those! Thank you for putting these together!
Thank you for all of the great ideas. See you in the spring.
You are so welcome!
Learned a lot about plants…Thank you
I’m so ready to start planting. I’m in South Carolina so we can start by mid April without worrying about cold temperatures.
I know what you mean… I’m ready to see new green things sprouting 😀
At least you know you just have to get through Feb and Mar.
Another great video!! Love the tagging of the flower names. Very helpful.
Lovely display! This surely got me anxious for spring. We can’t plant before May. I am in Canada. Thanks.
Thanks. Our last frost date is at the end of May... so I feel the same pain waiting to start growing things :)
Thank you for sharing

Eager to hear about deer resistant plants for cold climates.

Corey, How deep should a flower box be to keep the flowers healthy?
That depends on the plant, but I’d avoid anything more shallow than 6” - giving them extra space will allow for healthy roots and will likely make it easier to maintain the moisture.
What flowers would you recommend. The boxes are 7" deep
