The heat final is my favourite fight from this series. Sure it didn't have the destruction of HypnoDisc/RoboGeddon, or quite the clash of the titans feel of Chaos 2/Big Cheese, but no other fight in this war was quite as dramatic is that. Ridiculously high paced, brilliant comeback from Panic Attack. What Robot Wars is all about
Some of the best battles in this series weren't all about flipping and huge amounts of damage. The skill of the drivers and tension on how close some fights were are the more exciting (I still love Hypno though and he remains my all time favourite). Panic Attack has always ben excellent too.
It's always going to be a good heat when Panic Attack's in the line-up. A bot that relies on good driving and control. And I did love its attack on Matilda.
Purple predator was brilliantly designed, got to love a flipper bot with a huge ground clearance so it could never get under anything, and even if it did the fur would mean that it wouldn't be able to easily drive the opponent up on the wedge to flip anyway. It was purple though
I do I've recognized Panic Attack from the previous Robot Wars along with Chaos 2 I will have to cheer on for Panic Attack and George Francis's Chaos 2 💖💖I think that Kim Davis of Panic Attack and George Francis of Chaos 2 are my 2 best Robot Wars Team Captains 💖💖
They were solid, but not *that* solid. Driving left a lot to be desired also, frequently driving into walls at speed, including the hit that lost them their co2 💥
What was the Mr. Punch team thinking at the start there? "Hey, quick! Let's turn to the side and give them a taste of our tiny little side spikes. That will get them!"

I personally think it's one of the best heat final clashes of all time. Not simply of that particular series, but of all ten of them.
When I was younger I always thought it said "Robot Ears, stand by"
I could never tell if Johnathan Pearce was serious about Toe Cutters weapon or being sarcastic
It was a deadly weapon (against purple fur at least anyway)

Panic Attack: I am the housebot now.
"FROM GWENT AND REIGNING CHAMPION.... PANIC ATTACK"
Why does that give me chills? I'm not even Welsh :D
Same man I keep replaying it, Chaos 2’s intro in series 4 does the same thing.
“FROM IPSWICH, SEED NUMBER ONE AND REIGNING CHAMPION, CHAOS 2.”
I was expecting some variation on 'That's the way to do it' from Johnathan during the Mr. Punch fight, glad Craig was able to work that in at the end.
Disappointing not to see the fur covered Purple Predator go up in flames like Diotor 🔥
Glad I wasn’t the only one!

I thought that axios might be able to self right but the house robots didn't give it a chance
Am I the only one that wanted to see the Purple Predator on fire?

Panic Attack did have a wrinkle a self righting mechanism so they come in prepared for it's title defense
"purple predator"? Dear God...
you know, if X-terminator had been in any other heat, they probably could have made it to the grand final in this series
They went out like a Dalek. They may be fearsome, but they can't climb stairs...

Mr Punch had terrible reception issues. Wasn't so much what were the team thinking, more like why isn't our controller working?
I just noticed that in the watermelon cut segment Toe Cutter had a top plate that read “Blade Runner”
Lightest in the heat at 76kg. Robot they are fighting, 73kg, LOL.
That for me was one of the great heat finals
27:45 JP letting out his inner Whovian.
I wonder what kind of references JP will make in the 2017 series. After Instagram...
39:15 Dabbing not in victory, but in defeat.
Toe cutter is sad lol
If the Heat Final isn't in your Top 3 when you do your Top 15 Series 3 Battles, I'll be disappointed
The heat final in this episde is one of the all time best battles period if you ask me.
In fact one of the three heat battles which the viewers will vote for the best fight of the third wars
Lowkey Axios did decent against Panic Attack
Enter X-Terminator and Judge Shred!
That clearance statistics... what wrong with that?
I love the futile attempt to hype Toe Cutter's weapon by showing it cut a melon. So emblematic of the goofy, crappy charm of early Robot Wars.
17:28 the defending robot wars title holder
Season 4 looks different to how I remembered it.
Sake. Good spot, my friend!
this is the 3rd wars
for sure the hosts are all coked up.....
Panic Attack really lucky in 1st fight... they were worse!
