Triangle is a 2009 film written and directed by Christopher Smith and starring Melissa George and Michael Dorman. The film was released in the United Kingdom on 16 October 2009. George portrays a single mother who goes on a boating trip with several friends. Okay....I will explain the movie. One thing which must happen in all three loops is that the Jess with the knowledge of what is going to happen must be thrown off the ship. If this Jess is not thrown off the ship the crew will not board the Aeolis. The Jess thrown off the ship is the one which wants to save the group by not allowing them to board the ship. However, she actively fights herself and unknowingly prevents herself from escaping the loop by causing herself (with the escape knowledge) to be thrown off the ship(In all Loops). This is bcuz the only one with the knowledge of what is happening is the jess thrown off the ship. She is the only one can break the loop. But she gets thrown off the ship every time. Now, we see Jess kill an unmasked version of herself and throw that one off the ship. * It is important to note this time line is never shown*** So one of the Jess's time lines is never shown.
The loop begins every time she throws herself off the ship. She unknowingly prevents herself from warning the others as, the final Jess left on the ship after that fight, is always bewildered by the new arrivals and the Jess observing after Sally's death is just beginning to gain the knowledge of the loop.
So.....How did Jess get there. Well, if Jess had stayed home with her kid that day, only Greg and the rest of the crew would have died on the boat - (that day). However, we see Jess killing her son by hitting him. It is important to note the boy we see running and flinging his arms is a ghost and already dead at that point. Now what ppl have to realize is that, the son seeing the murder and the new Jess are already dead. At that point both he and new Jess are Ghost. This is why they can both see each other. Jess in turn only kills a ghost version of herself as at that point she is already in a loop and not reality.
How did Jess really die. Well jess originally dies on the boat with Greg and the crew, but she escapes death and unknowingly traps the other three souls in a loop. This is why the loop involves all of them. We see the food only turning bad after killer Jess is thrown off the ship. It seems the unseen friend, who is pulled from the ship, accepts her fate and moves on. Now when jess escapes death she ends up on the sea shore. The clothes she is wearing is the clothes she changed into after she first killed her son. She rushes to her house and is grateful to see her son but realizes what she is about to do to him. She then remembers killing her son so she kills herself and tries to get to Greg and the crew to also prevent them from boarding the boat. However.....at this point she is already a ghost and so is her son.
Anyways, the boy eventually accepts his fate and moves on, however, Ghost Jess is adamant she can still have a life with both Greg and her son if she can only get to the boat (with her son) and prevent them from sailing. As a result, instead of refusing the demons request to go anywhere, she, armed with the knowledge on how to beat the loop, accepts a ride to the harbor. There, Ghost Jess meets all the ghost characters who are doomed to repeat the process. She apologizes to Greg for shooting him. However, she is the only one with the knowledge of what's going to happen as she is the only one who makes it from the Ship or Deaths Grip. The other souls are stuck on the ship and can only escape once Jess gives up the ghost.
At sea Jess remembers her death in a dream and looses all memory of her plan. We hear Jess asking Greg what happened the day before as though she has forgotten. This is when Greg tells her he came to ask her sailing. However Ghost Jess no longer has her human memories and thinks her son is still alive.
Jess also has two trinkets keeping her in the loop. That is the keys(which are planted) and the necklace (which she takes from the Jess she kills). We see her accidentally hurt and then kill the tall guy...what's his name..... similar to what she did to her son.
Help me understand three things.
First Why did the fruits rot when jess kills Victor by pressurizing his wound??
Second how did Jess go back in time as when she comes to triangle
Tommy is dead and when she goes back her house Tommy is alive??
And third Why does jess forget everything that happened when she goes on the trip as she has been recently through all of this???

@@khalid596 The food spoiling is just to indicate every one on the ship seeing the food as unspoilt is already dead. when they eat the food they say the time is 11:30. The time they all died. Victors spilt blood or his impending second death actually unmasked the food and shows it as spoilt. Hence it also shows Jess is actively moving through a time shift or spiritual shift. Innocent Jess always spills Victors blood first. Violent Jess kills off the rest. So the Jess seeing the spoilt food is now on a different time line than those about to be killed. Before the food spoils we hear Sally asking Downy "Where has all the blood gone" ......Similarly, we see Jess unable to show victor Downey's body in the ocean.
Even at the beginning of the movie we are shown three time lines as one. We see jess packing the stained dress in the bag containing Tommy's body. We then see a changed Jess, the original Jess, taking the note and figuring she can probably dump the body at sea. That Jess is the original Jess, as well as the one packing the stained dress in the suitcase. We then see ghost Jess dropping her dead self in the trunk of the car, after we see her come out to ask who knocked on the door. That is a separate time line as well already in the loop.
Now we see a ghost tommy running after his mother hits him. That tommy is already dead from the blow his mother gave him. The two we see embracing are both ghost.
Jess spirit escapes at sea and also actually reaches the real world. We see a dead gurl (JESS) lying on the beach. We know she is dead bcuz of her pupils. This is the Jess which escapes death. She is flung into a part real but part unreal universe. As stated by Greg, it was created in her head......This is further enhanced by the fact that the jess taking the note off the fridge(In the beginning) is not wearing the sweater but the one putting the body in the trunk is. Sally usually dies with that sweater.
Jess looses her memories when the Dead Jess on the beach comes back to life. The ghost jess on the beach takes the memories as at this point the loop starts over again and the ghost has entered her reality.
Now in the movie we find JESS telling 3 main lies. 1. That Tommy is waiting for her outside of school. We know this is a lie bcuz even her ghost form saw him die in the crash. 2. When Greg ask her if everything is okay at the harbor she say yes. We know she just witnessed the death of herself and Tommy. 3. She lures Sally and Downy to their death. She knows she is going to kill them. As for the keys. We see her take the keys in the beginning but is given the keys again by Victor.
In the movie, Jess main Aim is to save Victor whom she kills accidentally.
Victor actually represents her son......Greg is the love interest she killed her son over.(Its complicated)

This movie is based on the Bermuda triangle mystery......the ship they found in the sea without any person but food was fresh , this incident happened in reality where the ship was found after many many years with fresh food but there was not a single person on the ship.....missing ships and airplane in Bermuda are in timeless void and as per my understanding people are well and alive..
