    Great videos. After looking and riding the T100, I went with the Bonneville T120 and its been exactly whaat I wanted. The T120 has a few features over the T100 that made it easy for me - more power (a lot more power and torque), a sixth gear, dual front brakes. I've done a lot of customizing and really made it my own - X-pipe & British customs shorty pipes really unleash the engine (~8% power increase) and make it sound like a proper motorcycle. Also, changing the stock tires is a must - it will transform how the bike feels and handles, I went with Avon trailrider tires. The T120 pulls like a freight train!

    I enjoy short 200 mile rides that wear me out. I love to feel it. It's glorious. Mine is the 2013 Bonneville 865. I took my windscreen off and got a full face helmet and I love riding it through the windy mountain roads of the Bankhead National Forest. Although if I wanted to ride five hours to the gulf coast I'd be a little wary.

      The Bonneville handles so well on mountain roads. That’s so awesome you have a national forest nearby to ride!

    Try the T120. I rode starting from St. Paul, MN to Northport, MI. Bike performed beautifully. All the power you need and nimble enough to have fun on some corners.I love mine, it is definitely a forever bike.

    Nice review. I keep going back and forth between the Bonneville T120 and Kawasaki Z900 RS

      Never been on a Kawasaki motorcycle but used to race their stand up jet skis and they were very well put together performance machines.

    Brash and loud or smooth and refined. I’ll take the Bonneville, thank you.

    Nice work. Yes the t100 is a fantastic bike as u pointed out. That’s why I just put a deposit on a 2022 t100. Is this the updated t100 with 65hp? Which would do better on highway then earlier model 2020 or earlier. Try the t120 or speed master for longer highway rides.

    • @NateBeck
      @NateBeck  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The speed master looks great and I definitely need to test one out. Have you tried the Bonneville bobber? That bike has always piqued my interest as well since its release.

      @@NateBeck I was really torn between t100 and bobber. It is a beautiful looking bike. Plenty of low down power. Have not ridden it. But all strong reviews on it. Long highway would probably be rough because of suspension. And seat may hurt after long distances. And fuel mileage pretty low. The speed master is basically a bobber is same engine and tuned the same as bobber. Just a lot more comfortable. Better mileage and can ride two. And I believe heavier. Does have forward controls like the Harley .Yeah u should check out bobber fir blasting back roads. Especially if your a Harley guy. This may be the one for you. A true head turner.

    The classic Bonnevilles were not much good on long highway runs. You could go, but the bike wasn't happy about it. They were lighter than the T100, less powerful, lower geared and the engine would feel overly busy at higher freeway cruising speeds. And it didn't bother anyone because the bikes are for 2 lane blacktop and country lanes. I think the T100 did great in this video. It ain't no GoldWing. Great review!

    I liked your review. The motorway thing is interesting.I am in the uk so it would not be an issue. I worry it might be a bit bland after riding the hand grenade waiting to explode that is my 750 cc Commando!

    I’ve got a T 100 Bonneville a gold lion is the best bike I’ve ever had I’ve had lots of bikes I’ve had a Halle your electrics good with your Halle how’s the fob does that play up minded I had to change my tires to English weather conditions

    • @NateBeck
      @NateBeck  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll have to give a Gold Line a try. I've never had issues with a fob failing. I'm personally not a fan of the fob (on bikes or cars), I'd prefer a key to stick in. The fobs are big and bulky and its just one more thing to carry in my jacket/pants.

    It feels like a freight train with the torque and the skinny bars. I’m going to try some tracker bars when I get the chance.

    • @NateBeck
      @NateBeck  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you know the width difference between the two sets of bars?

    Couldn't pick an uglier colour for this otherwise superb bike. I've done 106,000 Km on my 2017 T100. Faultless.
