Type of restoration I like? I am very partial to the Buddy L and Tonka fire trucks of the 1960's. This resto had "good bones". I have seen toys of this line rusted out, broken and dented. Thank you for putting another toy "back in service."
Beautiful job! Where do you get the press together fasteners like you used on the end of the boom by the roller for the winch line? I have a few tonkas with small screws and nuts on them. I would like to use the type you used. Thanks
I do have a few other brands of projects that are coming up including Doepke and Keystone. I am always on the lookout for other brands or more rare pieces that I think would make for an interesting restoration. I appreciate the ideas and will check into these brands as well.
These videos are fantastic. I love watching people take time to "freshen up" things like this.
Immaculate restoration. Beautifully done and any kid would be proud to play with it or use it as a display piece. 👏👏👏👏🇦🇺
Excellent! Terrific restoration.
Really enjoyed your work and video - this wrecker is a classic! Thumbs up!
Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the feedback. I have a 1950's Buddy L Firetruck that will be restored in the next few videos. I am looking forward to that one.
Gorgeous, simply gorgeous congratulations and thank you for posting!

I think you are looking for starlock washers, here is the kit that I bought from Amazon: amzn.to/3jdKi4j Hopefully that helps and thanks for watching!
Didn't you already do this a while ago?
Or was that someone else with the same model?
I have not but Rescue and Restore did a 1970's model that was very similar but originally red.
Dit is weer een schitterende restauratie, niet van nieuw te onderscheiden.
can u show something more than tonka nylint buddy l maybe like smith miller turner buckey/dunwell wyondotte marx arcade

Hi , can you give me the red powder Ral Number ?
Sorry, I just saw this, I don't have the Ral Number but it was Nostalgic red from Prismatic Powders. Hope that helps.
