    I made Mysore pak from this recipe for Varamahalakshmi habba yesterday.     Hebbar girl... i love ur version of soft mysorepak. Each n every mysorepak recipe in the world demands 2 cups of ghee n 2 cups of sugar to one cup of besan which would put me off imm as i am very health conscious. Yours is the only recipe with one cup sugar n one cup ghee. Def going to try this recipe. Love u. Keep posting videos. Love from bangalore.

    I saw many videos on that...they hot ghee first nd then add ghee on the batter in batches....
    But this one... totally different...nd the main thing,when u was slicing with knife ..omg. It was so satisfying.

      MoNu ShrNa yes there should be hot ghee and bubbles in the middle. There is a distinctive brown band in the middle. The recipe here is just barfi.

    Hi! 1st question, do I have to cool the besan after sifting it n then add ghee to it ? 2) my mysorepak came out hard n crumbly..did I go beyond 1 string..I'm wondering!! Ghee separated from mix. My 1st attempt..maybe next time it will b better!!

      You have to shift it when its hot, or else it would become difficult for you to take them out in a perfect shape. Hope you've got the answer for both of your questions.

    Okay. my mother used to make mysore pak the exact same way using the exact same 3 ingredients: besan, sugar, and ghee. this IS the right way to make mysore pak. some people add oil also. they put 1/2 cup ghee and 1/2 cup oil, but that totally changes the taste of mysore pak in my opinion. this IS the correct way to make mysore pak. thank u for sharing.

    Hold on, not that easy.. get that signature golden brown colour at the centre which demands itself to be awarded with the name mysore pak. If not, it is just a burfy.

      Mysore pak and ghee mysore park. Hope it clarifies your doubt. 😊

    I tried this out, inspired by the shape which reminded me of Gold bar, I decorated it with edible Gold Leaf. Thanks a lot for sharing awesome and beautiful looking Sweets recipes!
