Qx4 2001 - worked like a champ. My airbag light was flashing because I had unplugged one of the side curtain airbags when fixing my seatbelt. Your steps worked. Bless your kind heart my friend I will never know or meet. You rock!
Thanks, I tried the other YT guys after talking w/auto zone, and mechanics. You were the only one who had the time and mentioned not to turn switch completely off (which is what I was doing). Your channel did the trick so I subscribed.
By looking at the gauge cluster your car appears to be a 02-03 Nissan Maxima SE with the 6spd manual 🤤 There’s never been one for sale when I’ve been in the market. Super fun cars. Had an 02 SE but with an auto several years ago. It was a great car.
Tried a few video’s like this but I gotta say this the one that worked for me finally, my airbag light finally went off after Ibeen trying for months. It was the step by step and the read out for me….
@@SemisolidPavlo What do you think I should do? And I appreciate that you sent me a message and if you don't mind can you tell me the step by step of how to make the airbag light go off?
@@shamarwright336 Yep, I put a piece of black tape over airbag light (just kidding). I read that there was an airbag recall for the infinity airbags, so I am going to take to dealer and see if this might be covered. Otherwise, I will just have to live with it.
Thank you. It's very useful video. I have 2006 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SL, I tried the similar way and was able to reset and light went off for 1 day. However 2nd day it started blinking again. This was working fine till few days back. Anything Air Bag module or sensor needs to be replaced? even I wiggled yellow wire under Driver seat. How much does cost to buy Air bag module or sensor? Would be appreciate
Have the airbaglamp somthing with the heathing in the car too, after i do fix the flash, must i turn the heat more up, its been a difrent of the heat if i take off thebambientsensor and the ac compropressor stop and the coolfan stop., maybe thats looks like crasy. but its the true..anf i have reolement the ambiensensor
2002 Maxima SE does not work. It turns off for 3 secs, stays lit solid for about 4-5 secs and starts blinking again. Might be a bad module tho according to other sources. Maybe you can help with another issue I'm having. The auto window goes down fine on my front passenger window but when using the auto up, once the window fully closes, it reopens itself about 2 inches and stops. If you don't use the auto up and hold the button it closes all the way fine. Just the auto up is what does it. I've tried unhooking my battery while it's open, I've tried it while it was up all the way, I've tried using the auto up and holding it while shutting off the power to keep it closed while in auto. Idk what else can fix this. It's not off the track, it's not cockeyed, it just reopens about 2 inches on its own when using the auto up. Any ideas will be happily attempted lol.
Tried it 20 times on my 2000 Maxima but not working. Any other ideas? Same reason - took the glove box out to fix the air fan and reconnecting the yellow cables made it start blinking.
Thanks.. For my car nissan sunny 2012 it works for some time but return.. Tried many times and succeeded for some time only and return.. Are there any other options
Isn't that light on for a reason? So, you can reset the annoying light from flashing but doesn't this just ignore the unsafe condition that your airbag won't deploy?
You need to do this if the ECU detected an issue e.g. you unplugged the airbag, but now you have fixed the issue e.g. you have plugged it back in. It just won't reset itself, even if you fix the issue. I would assume that if a problem with the airbags persisted, the light would start flashing again.
I have a '00 Infiniti Q45 and when you turn it on the light stands for 4 seconds and then starts to flash and does not stop even as you're driving....HELP!
@onlyboutthabizness i tried some of this technique like on the video and airbag doesnt come off on my infiniti qx4 i went to dealer they said ill spend $200 for diagnosing it which i accidentally disconnected my wire inside my stearing wheel and put it back so it got blink the airbag light caused i try fixing my horn then i kept searching on google which i found a complete explanation on the video same youtube that in order to turn the ignition same concept on this video you also have to open your driverside door and keep pushing the door button which located on the bottom of the door and push 5 times when you put the ignition on but not to start the car then wait for it to blink the light and when it blinks start to push button 12345 repeat it with the ignition off and on then when it blink 12345 as soon as the light blink slower later light will shut off , i went back to the google maybe a few months later to save the video link but i couldnt find it anymore totally weird maybe it got erased by youtube.
@@gugolbaho Thank you Rod....I appreciate your time. I'm just getting here and of course my mom says she hasn't done or removed anything but the horn is very faint when you press it. The wheel(I know it needs an alignment but) also feels as if the axle is not very stable or when turning you're going to drift away.
@@onlyboutthabizness ah you probably really need to fix it or need a real mechanic on it, it could be serious & dangerous it to drive, my horn is just honking while turning it but my mechanic said i will spend about$300 for them to open and reinstall also the airbag caused horn switch is underneath on it with alarm relay so insread i just connect the horn directly on the battery with toggle switch to save this complicated $300 repair and the blinking airbag light i just get rid of it by this one youtube technique to save $200 diagnose + the problem they find.
@@TheSundaeDrive thanks, i usually get most of ideas on the web specially on youtube lot help and sometimes. I also put info on it that i discover with my own experience :)

If it's Returning you might actually have an Issue with Fuse, Wiring, sensor or the Actual airbag.
