An axle upgrade is an often-overlooked-yet nonetheless critical-aspect of many off-road builds. That’s because bigger wheels and tires, combined with more power from the engine, often over-stress your driveline. Toss in some aggressive trails, and your OE axle is going to have a bad day. To prevent that from happening to our Jeep truck, we looked to the drivetrain experts over at Currie. They recommended drop-in crate axle assemblies that, combined with beefier driveshafts and tie rods, gave us a huge increase in driveline strength.
