If you think you see a scam, talk with someone. Your story could help someone avoid that scam. Then report it to the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.... Your story could help the FTC stop the scammers.

We all see scams. Even if we don't buy into one, we all get the calls, emails, and letters. Why are there so many? Well, scammers see us all as targets, so they keep trying to get our money or Social Security number or account numbers.
And they're good at what they do. They know how to knock us off balance just long enough to take advantage. That's why we need a plan.
So if you think you've spotted a scam, what do you do? First, tell somebody. The call or email might seem urgent, but slow down.
Talk to a family member, friend, or neighbor. Tell them the story. Sometimes just saying it out loud helps. Maybe your friend got a similar message or knows someone who has. Or your story might just help your neighbor avoid that scam.
Then tell the Federal Trade Commission. The FTC sues scammers and works to shut them down. When you report a scam to the FTC, investigators use your information to build cases against scammers. Other law enforcement agencies can see the reports, too, and use them to further their own investigations.
Your story makes a difference. Every report is a piece of the puzzle that lets the FTC see the full picture of what scammers are doing and then stop them, because scammers don't scam just one person. But you could be the one person whose story tips the balance, stops someone from falling for the scam, or stops the scammer.
So tell your story. As soon as you think you see a scam, talk with someone, and then tell the FTC. Go to ftc.gov/complaint to file your report.

My identity was stolen to the point that they filed taxis on my name changed my mailing address to get tha refunds on there mail they are working with my social and I got in trouble with the county of San Bernardino I was under investigation by the IRS for six months until they comfirmed I was a victim of Identity thef someone is collecting unemploymen with my social and my question is how all of this will affect me when I try to retired ? would I have anything in my social security? I have never collected un-employment in my life jet I just contacted the social security fraud department to see if they can put a stop to it. what are my opptions to recovered from this messed ? low life people that don't know how to hold on to a job but there experts in stealing and defrauding honest citizens that work hard to bring daily bread a roof for a family.

I continue to get calls that say, "This is Medicare on a secured line", I say "how may I help you" and they hang up, this has happened at least 5 times. Last # was 804-315-0159

Educational messages OK but far from problem solution. I get a lot of unsolicited calls, email and mail that I think is legit. Ans the phone thinking it is my doc... In fact if I ans a call that is not my doc then the doc can't get in. Want no unsolicited marketing or scams. Paying for devices I can not use.

My fellow company there's a few people that need their paycheck reviewed and also because of contents of themselves are technically thoroughly supposed to be working with thoroughly myself so review and remove those individuals and put the thoroughly individuals back with myself and we thoroughly understand that thoroughly I'm not just on American soil because it's all my property and my power does exceed to go to other universes because you understand the details of comply!
