Thanks, Ty! Forgetting stuff always makes it interesting - finding ways to work around the missing equipment [see: the makeshift "tripod" I used when I opened the package from Doyle recently]
Yeah, I'm pretty smitten with cameras! I'm a bit of a gearhead, you could say! :D *this response was generated by TH-cam's AI. What do you think of it?
Canon and an L series lens....what more could you want? We could never ride together, we would be all day long stopping for photos...something I do. LOVE this video FUN
LOL, so true! We'd stop every 2 miles to take pics... stay tuned, I think I have a video where I do that :D And no, I don't really want anything else... maybe some more non-L lenses for this camera [because food and heat are fun to have too, ya know?].
@@RoadReality I hear ya, my tour pak doesnt have enough room for all my camera gear. I like the idea you have two cameras, my Canon is an old one but been with me since my first baby shutterbug days and I love it
@@HarleyGurl114 Dang, you must have a LOT of gear! I don't like switching lenses in the field, so I only carry 1 lens per camera with me - saves on space, too!
@@HarleyGurl114 LOL, I totally get that - in an upcoming video, I can get a few different types of photos with the 2 cameras I brought with me. Do you work mostly with primes?
To that picture I want to add. Did you know that in the cold weather, young boys with mopeds used to unscrew the fuel cap and light the fuel fumes on fire, to warm their hands, after a ride in cold weather? Yes. sitting on the bike, with a fire on top of the fuel tank. / 06:11 for some reason that reminded me Zohan 😆 I started singing in my head: "Coffe, coffe, good, good!" / Riding slow does not mean it's relaxed. The state of riders mind defines if it's relaxed or not.
That's wild, about the mopeds! Seems like a bad idea. Unless it was the oil tank, pre-mix? Maybe that's safer? RE: Zohan: haha :D Yes, you're right - state of mind is the important part :D Thanks for watching, my friend!
@@RoadReality the mopeds were 2 stroke. The fuel was mixed with 2 stroke oil, if that's what you meant. It's just the gas tank, and the fumes exiting the filler hole burnt. That was dangerous to do with too empty tank, because it could potentially suck the flame in and make a bang.
@@theodorstravels Yeah, that's what I was thinking of. Newer mopeds have a separate oil tank and the scoot itself mixes the gas and oil before burning it. The fumes makes sense... and definitely not a good idea!
Waylon Jennings sang " If I wasn't already crazy, I swear I'd be going insane". You need to find an Arborist (one who studies trees and foliage) and ask them what trees shed their leaves first and why.
LOL, I know, right? I usually buy a new SD card for each new camera... and only recently have I had one go bad from use - and I had a spare, thankfully.
Yeah, I totally get that - but it's fun for me to compare the different cameras I have and see what works for a specific type of shot. Which reminds me - this was a couple of months ago, and I really want to get that Nikkor 12-28 out again - the wide angle is slick :D
Yep - that's my SOP for the GoPros, but the Canon doesn't charge its own battery when plugged into the computer, so when I get home after a photo shoot, I put the battery on the charger and take the SD card out and plug it into my computer. When I got home from this ride... there it was, sticking out of the side of my laptop, LOL. Thanks for watching!
I've forgotten SD cards, tripods, even the right camera once. Fun video!

I've forgotten them once. The thing I do more, is have it full, and don't notice, so I end up with zero footage.
Oh geez, I couldn't imagine filling an entire SD card without offloading the footage! Dang, man.
Brother you have a great passion for photography 😎👍👍

@ I shoot different types of photography so need all my lens with me!! I try not to swap out in field but depends on where/ what I need to capture!

@@RoadReality well I have one of those time mopeds now. With pedals and everything. I think I'm too old and wise to try out the technique though 😆
@@theodorstravels Yeah... just don't. There's enough ways to die, that one seems dumb. LOL
I always enjoy going to the less traveled roads in my area.
Heck yeah - I try to find squiggly lines on the map away from the city :D

I'll have to ask an arborist [and yes, I knew what an arborist was, before your comment ;) ]
We had to run the air conditioner last night it was so warm and this morning it turned cold and had to switch back over to the heat. 👍
Dang - it's crazy how the weather can change on a dime!
We haven't had to turn the AC on, but the heat either runs a lot, or not at all, LOL.
With all the cameras you’re going to have to buy stock in an SD Card company 😃👍

Every ride you go on is a realxed ride, you don't ride fast. ;-)

Never forget the SD card but did forget to put a full charged battery in
Well, you're better than me, because now I've done BOTH - I forgot to charge my Nikon back in April, oops.
I have never had a problem with SD cards. Everything else, but never the SD cards!😂😂
HAHA, don't I know it! :D

Isn't the detour sign pointing to the left lane? It should be okay to rake it, right?
It's closed all the way - they left it open-ish to allow local traffic out only. I googled it when I got home... closed for the next year or so :(
Waaaaaaaaaitaminute...I'm starting to think this isn't a current video
Why? Because there's leaves on the trees? LOL - there's like 17 videos after this one before we get to present day :D
RoadReality is becoming PhotoReality!
I know, right? So many beautiful pictures! It's hard to pick which ones make it into videos and onto IG!
i never remove my sd cards.. so never forget them :)
