Great watch, bought mine a month ago and still love it and wear it every day. I had to smooth the sharp edges on the bracket which was disappointing to have to do, but it’s not the only watch I’ve had to smooth sharp edges from. Now it’s done and all good and glad I did it. Congrats Evan, the LHD is the best pelagos, and its great to you bought it in Italy. Nice memories on the wrist. Enjoy the hell out of it, cheers P.S.: I guess we are rocking currently the same watch on our wrist, 5KX GMT is awesome 👍🏻
A GMT Pelagos would be really great!!! About Pelagos LHD, I love it. I 've bought it a few weeks ago and I can't take it away. When even I wear my datejust or my moonwatch I really miss it! You (really are) terrific. I want this to be my favorite watch-reviewer-channel for as long as possible. Also want to express my gratitude for your decision to reveal your face.
I adore my Pelagos, if there was literally any one thing I could change, it would be the spring bar / lack of access. It's wild how difficult they are to replace.
Some good points here, and I think that was a great pickup on your trip! I see you holding on to this for awhile, but probably not a long term keeper unless it's quirky enough to fit into your collection lifestyle. Regardless, I'm a big fan of the watch and while I don't see them revamping the line anytime soon, I'd like to see them expand the colorway in the future, maybe introduce green or another color.
I couldn’t keep this watch more than a couple of months. Though it has the nicest dial of all Tudor tool watches, it was, as you stated it, the bracelet. The watch never felt comfortable on my rest because of it. Enjoy yours though. Hope you have a much better experience than mine.
Great video usually 👍😎 absolutely agree with you, I bought LHD for the same reasons, it’s modern but the same time is so heritage and different 👌 this my favorite casual watch
I am in love with the blue used on the Pelagos, always have been. It's the closest tone of blue that is like the deep deep vibrant blue only found on glacial ponds; that glow from within given they're on a huge ice cube. It's a huge watch for me, but I always go back and think "could I pull it off?" I want a smaller 300m version. That would be amazing. Also, congratulazioni signore!
How big is your wrist? I have the blue pelagos and I love the colour as well. But I have 6.25 and it's fine on me. But as a tool watch it's OK to be larger I think. I would like it in the Hulk inspired green.
@@ethanfailes7908 Yeah, me too. The most chunky tool watch I have is the Seiko SPB213. Wears chunkier on the bracelet it comes with but still works on my wrist. That one is a 40mm.
perfect choice: The pelagos is the best modern automatic luxury diver. I wear sytematically my bleue one (on blue rubber) in holidays and sold my Tudor Heritage.
Evan that looks so good on you. That leather strap combo is super handsome....and who knew about the roulette ?? You learn something new on here every day.
Excellent video ! I was struggling to choice between all models of pelagos and finally go for the original 2 lines Black version . And i m so glad with it
Great review. I've ordered an LHD (due in Oct.22). You confirm a lot of the thoughts and considerations that I had before I pulled the trigger. It's definitely a bit different and I also would've preferred it a bit slimmer..... but I'm pretty sure I'm going to love it.
Love my LHD ❤ probably my fav in the collection. Bracelet is a bit chunky, the rubber one feels too utilitarian (but is my go to for swimming), I have it on a parachute strap. Ciao from Italy 👋
Great review on a great watch! I 100% agree with everything here. I had the blue Pelly for a period of time and found it to be too BLUE for my taste in the long run. I think the LHD has a much nicer look. But yes, if they lose the HEV and drop the WR to slim the case a bit, I probably won't be able to resist buying one. Ok ciao.
You’re so right about the square markers. I’ve always liked the look of this watch but I could never put my finger on why. I wear a black bay 36 which I’m really happy with, but I’d be tempted to upgrade if they revamped with a similar look to this. Unfortunately my wrist could never carry off one of these bad boys
It’s a lovely watch and I’m a leftie but it’s just too big for me. However I recently tried the FXD and that wears much smaller than the dimensions would suggest. But the dial and bezel colours of the LHD are still nicer
Great video! Thinking about selling my BB58 and buying this. Wish it was 1mm thinner. Wears a little thick but the titanium definitely makes up for that weight. But I get it, this is the ultimate dive watch. Wear it with good health!
It's amazing how often I agree with you. It's my only Tudor, for me the model that doesn't copy Rolex. The LHD is numbered, it's more exclusive. I find that the clasp springs are too stiff, it hurts after a while when the wrist swells. greetings from France.
That lume always looks so blue in the videos. Mine is more of a bright green blue. I guess the colour varies slightly? Ive seen some bezels with both the green and blue lume
First time I've seen your channel and got to admit I like what I see, great little review, superb camera work and editing..plus you made me laugh. Subscribed 👍🏻
Tudor has been doing great with the later releases. I echo the annoyance of a watch running slow vs fast. I have issues with titanium vs steel. For some reason as my wrist swells during the day, titanium either becomes too tight or too loose vs steel. I find titanium best on straps, and I really like that canvas strap you showed off.
I saw the Bologna 2 towers in your video, my city I bought the lhd last year, here in Bologna, and I'm fully satisfied apart the sapphire glass that is not so good as expected about light reflects thanks for your video Luigi
No, don’t think so. Especially with the thickness and bracelet heft. My wrist is >8.125 and it fits perfectly and used to wear a breitling Bentley and super avenger that were too big for function, imho. The other thing that surprised me was the weight and balance that make it feel sporty but not too heavy or cheap (light). *I’ve got a video.
Your videos are fabulous and really love your style. I absolutely agree with this probably being one of the best dive watches on the market. They look awesome and I personally love titanium watches. However, I do own the Christopher Ward C60 in blue...and can’t help to find its quality and aesthetics with its value still keeping me happy after the three years I’ve owned it. It also seems to bridge the favorable qualities of the Black Bay 58 blue and blue Pelagos really, really well. Incidentally, I always felt the LHD version was for lefties...but I cannot hold anything against someone liking this particular one better than the typical black and overly bright “Scuba Blue” one-it totally rocks!
Great advice regarding Christopher Ward! P.s. left hand watches are actually better for wearing on the left, as the crown doesn't dig into the wrist. So they're perfect for most of us who wear on the left
I wish they would make the same watch with the crown on the right. I love the yellowish line over the regular black. I just can’t do a crown on the left.
I noticed that you mentioned that you don't like how the titanium clasp feels against your wrist. News Flash: the case back and folding clasp are both steel.
Timely. I’ve been stocking this one too. Thinking of selling my BB58 once I find a LHD example to buy. Those ‘little balls’ are a real bonus. LoL!! Not sure I’ll be able to go off shore to look for one tho. Wish Tudor made them more readily available here in North America.
This is what happens when you get near to Greece, you mess up with Pelagos... As for the lefty crown, who cares, it's a great watch. Oh, and probably the best clasp out there. PS Nice interview btw, cool indeed. PS2 On the perlon strap is great, but the smile on the back is priceless!
You know what they say, "When in Rome..." :) Cool watch! Not a fan of the blue on the other Pelagos watches but this one is very nice indeed! Congrats on this one, enjoy it!
IF one is comfortable in one's own skin and not in any social media induced need of a crown and ROLEX on the dial for self validation, the Pelagos LHD is, IMO, THE perfect watch to own in place of the Submariner AND Sea Dweller. And basically ANY other "dive" watch. Well...except maybe for the fun and quirky P01. The LHD is also a perfect "one watch collection watch" if there ever was such a thing. Congrats & enjoy!!
Another great video. And I 100% agree. I sold off my 116610 supercase submariner date because while a great watch, it felt very “basic” (good lord, talk about being a watch doofus), and bought a Tudor LHD (preowned full kit for about $3300) a year ago. It’s my daily sport watch along with my explorer 2 polar, my aqua terra green dial, and my Nomos Neomatik 42 (the one you made me buy after seeing your video - you glorious bastard). But the Pelagos is truly a quick grab when I don’t feel the need to “think: about which watch I want to wear on any given day. Love your channel. Keep making great content.
I loved owning the Pelagos blue, and yet I sold it. It was almost so great, yet I don't miss it because I know Tudor will iterate on it to make it better. I'll be patient.
If they just got the tip of that seconds hand in the same red as the top line dial text that would something. Oh and a METAS certification would be nice. I'd also throw in a display case back if I'm generating a wish list :) Great review and thumbs up!
great video! am thinking about picking one of these up, definitely more unique than the BB58 and not vintagey. Any thoughts on the new Pelagos 39? Will you be selling this for that??
Pelagos LHD is the best to me because I like that yellowish markers. The watch is sexiest on leather. It’s saying I’m a tool rugged watch who makes no compromised but I dress up to the occasion. When it’s back on bracelet, it’s saying I’m modern, uncompromised, don’t care about being flashy and don’t care about being different, and I’m the beast.
Picked one up yesterday at the boutique in NYC. Wears pretty darn good on my 6.5 inch wrist considering the dimensions. I sent it in today because the date doesn't center in the window. I saw somewhere this is common and fixable. I'm really hoping. Meanwhile the watch ain't on me wrist unfortunately. My vintage Seamaster and GMT line up perfectly in the center of the window. Is this a precise Swiss made time piece or what? Right?
Someone probably already quoted, but:"I'd be losing money if I DIDN'T buy a watch, am I right?!" Classic Evan. I always written the Pelegos off, titanium an square hour markers, bleh. But tastes change, I guess, this looks really nice. Been having Rolex/Tudor fatigue lately, but this review is refreshing, thanks🙂👍
Great review!, It would be really cool to see it next to the new Baltic aquascaphe titanium, I think they share the same vibes at different price points
It can be flipped no problem, as the dial feet are in the same position when rotated 180 degrees. You are flipping the dial 180 degrees, not the movement, but I'm sure that's what you meant. The only caveat is you'd need to replace the date wheel with a standard Pelagos date wheel, otherwise the date will be upside down. This means means you lose the roulette colours for the date wheel, so if you can live with that, it's 100% doable.
Nice vid! I think an interesting comparison would be the Titanium Steinhart Ocean One 500 meter. It is around 12-13 mm thick. Super comfy. $500-600. Ciao!
As your channel grows, please don't change anything - it's perfect as it is. Don't become one of those shouty show-offs with stupid catchphrases.

I noticed that you mentioned that you don't like how the titanium clasp feels against your wrist. News Flash: the case back and folding clasp are both steel.
This one is stunning. I once tried the blue one in an AD and since then I am confident that would I once buy a luxury diver, it will be the pelagos.
What do you think about the Sinn U50 on a rubber strap as a cheaper Alternative to this watch? :)
Bro! What is it with you and releasing reviews of watches that I am looking at!!! Insane timing haha
Still regret selling mine; cracking watch. Great video mate, keep up the fantastic content!
You can always get another. They’re not very rare.
Wow great review and great wrist shots! I love my LHD 👌👌👌
Great suite to select from.
I loved owning the Pelagos blue, and yet I sold it. It was almost so great, yet I don't miss it because I know Tudor will iterate on it to make it better. I'll be patient.
What ultimately made you sell it?
@@eyeheartsushi2212 The BB58. The size and dimensions were what I was looking for. The James Stacy Pelagos GMT concept would be ideal.
I’m headed to Rome in a few months. Could you tell me about this VAT and why it’s a benefit to buy the watch over there?
If they just got the tip of that seconds hand in the same red as the top line dial text that would something. Oh and a METAS certification would be nice. I'd also throw in a display case back if I'm generating a wish list :) Great review and thumbs up!
There is an update to the pelagos, the FXD. Granted there is no bracelet version.
Yeah. Not for me.
Your wish for a new Pelagos was granted. What do you think about the Pelagos 39?
I love the new size, I don’t care for the dial and bezel.
And a month later the 40mm is released
what is the blue jean shirt you are wearing ? where did you buy it ? looks good
great video! am thinking about picking one of these up, definitely more unique than the BB58 and not vintagey. Any thoughts on the new Pelagos 39? Will you be selling this for that??
Love the size of the new but dislike the sunburst dial and brushed bezel. I think a Pelagos looks best with matte finishes.
Love the Pelagos! To me, it's the Sea Dweller double red, modernized and updated.
You know me so well.
Great review!, It would be really cool to see it next to the new Baltic aquascaphe titanium, I think they share the same vibes at different price points
I love the off white markers . Im thinking of getting one and having the movement flipped round to make it RHD . I wonder if it can be rotated around
How does it compares with the Super Ocean?
Yes, the helium is more so, where things get unnecessary... The 300M submariner @ 12mm thick is the sweet spot.
Mister, apart from watches you do have taste on mixing colors on your outfit. Your channel deserves much more recognition
Thanks
Holy crap, that brown strap combo is killing it.
Pelagoseses…..Pelagi ?
Made of pure Beskar metal.
I know. That’s gonna be my cool weather combo.
It's a Greek word and the plural is Pelaga:)
Nice vid! I think an interesting comparison would be the Titanium Steinhart Ocean One 500 meter. It is around 12-13 mm thick. Super comfy. $500-600. Ciao!
I'm betting on 6 months, but less than a year. Great review.
Hey
Your voice seems kinda tired.
Are you okay??
Also, love the watch, and the video!
Jet lag
I use my clasp spring extension a lot. I love this watch. I have the blue version
Nicely done
