- To get subtitles click C. The Opel Diplomat presented by me was produced by the Lesney company in the years 1966-1970. My model was in fairly good condition, except that the roof was crushed. The glass that I made was also to be replaced. I poured a new one out of resin. I was able to straighten the roof of the car and make a roof pillar, which was damaged during straightening.

Ah. I was watching a show with Brian Johnston from AC-DC, were he talked to a guy who's first car was an Opel Kadett. That got me thinking of old Opel cars, Ascona, Manta, etc. I've never heard of the Diplomat.

Esse carro da _Opel_ foi produzido e comercializado no Brasil pela GM sob a marca _Chevrolet_ . O detalhe é que por aqui ele recebeu mecânica norte-americana, inclusive um dos motores era também utilizado pelo _Chevrolet Impala_ . E então o nome do carro no Brasil se tornou _Chevrolet Opala_ , que forma uma "contração" do nome _Opel_ mais _Impala_ ... Por outro lado _'Opala'_ é também o nome de uma pedra preciosa exclusiva do Brasil. O carro foi um sucesso com carrocerias sedã (4 portas), cupê e também SW. Saiu de produção em 1994, mas ainda é muito cultuado por colecionadores de veículos antigos!
Um comentário muito interessante. Você escreve coisas que eu não sabia. É muito interessante que esse modelo tenha sido produzido no Brasil até 1994. Muitas felicidades

How do you match the color so exactly?
Most often I take the model that I want to paint to the car paint shop. I choose the right color among the ready-made paints. If it is similar, I try to mix it with a different shade at home to get the best effect. Best wishes
