Hey, Sharp. Thanks for reacting to my video(Cube goes to heaven). It was really surreal seeing my video here when I've been watching you for so many years now. Thanks for giving actually constructive criticism for my video. Cheers!
Already submitted for episode 2! EDIT 1 > 5:22 - OMG THATS MEEEEE!! I MADE IT IN!!! EDIT 2 > I do indeed remember the pink catear headphones from SYSTM. I Am an OG, after all. Lol
Aww, man... I have to wait until 9AM tomorrow to watch this... I hope SharpWind liked the Minecraft render I submitted. Hopefully, I get some tips to help me improve.
It's good to see the series actually starting! SYSTM was great and I'm sure GEAR will be too. Also, I learned some pretty interesting things from this episode; hopefully I'll have a bit of time to make and submit something as well!
Thank you for the feedback (I made the Sons of Anarchy room). To answer your question, I made everything myself except for the rifles and the 2 bottles of booze. Thanks again (LOVE the body pillow BTW 😆).
The room looks sick - one of my favorites from the episode, good job on that :) The pillow is an inside joke from the community from several years back, it's a blast haha
Ok, so, the terrain shouldn't have empty spots and the sky and lighting need small improvements? Got it. The render I submitted for Episode 2 uses the same map, though. However, that render is set in a void-like dimension. Can I submit a different render?
Hello, sharp. I do have a question, back in SYSTM we were able to submit renders and animations from other softwares, does that still apply to GEAR or is our usable content limited to ONLY blender? I ask this as i use multiple animation softwares(MI,Blender,C4D,SFM,and S2FM).
As long as the software has a proper 3D system So MI creations wont be accepted, because the tips i give, can't be applied. I can't tell you you have an issue on your normals, because you can't edit normals in MI, etc. So as long as its a proper 3D system, its fine, doesnt matter which software

Hey that's me at 7:30, thanks for the advice, I'm glad you liked it! 👍
14:22 Brother thank you for being honest about my work. 🤟
Thanks for submitting, i hope the critique was constructive 🫡
@@SharpWind it was something that I needed to hear all absolute honesty👍
*adds more blur*
SYSTM S2 E10 was the last and only time I appeared in a Sharpwind video. 💀🤝💀
Love this vid
Loved the content, looking forward to seeing more. Hopefully I can share one of my projects even though i use MAYA!!!!
Of course it's allowed, i'm just poking fun because of bad experiences (i used to be a maya user for 4 years)
Everything is welcome!
Cool you're the Best Animator sharp ! 😉
At 12:45, you forgot to remove the mirror mode Sharp. That's why the rig was mirroring the poses not a mirror modifer
Ah, i never use it in my projects, so i didnt even realize it was on in the .blend file
But thanks, bladder :)
@@SharpWind its blader you rascal but yeah i only ever use it for editing rig bones so i dont blame you for not noticing.
lets go whoop whoop
Is Come Time Already

And I am late for it
Man I love that intro, you make it yourself?
Of course, i made all the assets and textures from scratch and i had a blast :)
@@SharpWind That's crazy, I can really tell the production value of the videos have gone way up.

@@SharpWind alright, thank you for answering my question!
But, do C4D and SFM/S2FM count as proper 3D systems?
Idk about SFM, but C4D does
If you can edit vertices and normals and have PBR textures/UVs, thats good enough
@@SharpWind I'm not sure about vertices in SFM, but you can edit textures and UVs, is that alright?
I sure hope he got my rig, not like he said he didn't get it 😿
Sorry, wynt 😔
