வத்தல்மலை - தர்மபுரியில் ஒரு மினி ஊட்டி | Vathalmalai - Mini Ooty in தர்மபுரி | Places in Dharmapuri

வத்தல் மலை (Vathalamalai) என்பது தமிழ்நாட்டின் தருமபுரி மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு மலையாகும். கடல் மட்டத்திலிருந்து சுமார் 3000 அடி உயரத்தில் உள்ள இம்மலை தர்மபுரி நகரில் இருந்து 25 கிலோ மீட்டர் தொலைவில் இருக்கிறது. இம்மலையில் சின்னாங்காடு, பால்சிலம்பு, பெரியூர், ஒன்றிக்காடு, கொட்லாங்காடு, மண்ணாங்குழி, குழியனூர்-பெரியூர், நாயக்கனூர் உள்ளிட்ட கிராமங்கள் உள்ளன. இவை கொண்டகரஅள்ளி ஊராட்சியைச் சேர்ந்தவை. பல ஆண்டுகளாக இந்த மலைக்குச் செல்ல சாலைவசதி இல்லாத நிலை நீடித்துவந்த நிலையில். 2013 ஆம் ஆண்டு பூமரத்தூர் அடிவாரத்தில் இருந்து ஏழு கிலோமீட்டர் தொலைவுக்கு 15 கொண்டை ஊசி வளைவுகளுடன் மலைப்பாதை அமைக்கப்பட்டது.
