how do these things hold up in the sun? does the colour tend to fade?
Will these fit a truck that doesn't have a roof rail fitted? How can the top part be secured without roof rails? Mines is a Limited

Installed unit on Ranger 2019 Wltrak, all went well until fitting snorkel and trying to tighten bolt at the back, quite a tight manuveour. The fun started when I went to attach the roof bracket under the roof rail. Video seems to suggest that it easily fit in track, have I missed something?
How did you end up getting this to work?
Does this fit a 2019 PX3 Wildtrak as I like that you do not have to cut up the car.

What did u do about the join to the main snorkel piece? It only joins with the two plastic pieces sliding together which won’t stop water

I had a question: what if water from a puddle or rain enters the pipe? is there a drain built in for that?
Sebastiaan NLD small amounts of water won’t hurt it actually. You have to suck up a significant amount. That is why Water Methanol injection works fine.
I am using this one now. When it rains and drives too fast and accidentally ran in, although there is a water outlet, it still wets my filter a little bit. I am also worried that this problem will be damaged.

@@pasindulakshan9038 I'm not sure if it will cause damage in the long term, because I have only used it for a month. Maybe I will consider changing to another model. I see a water hole on a certain model, so rain or dust will not enter directly.

What if your ranger has no roof racks how do u bolt top of snorkel up
Fitted it today ened up pot riveting the top bracket saved me pulling inside apart. Also kit I got sent was 100mm to long had to cut the long section to make it fit.

Could you put this snorkel on a Ford Everest
Suitable for Ranger only
@@grahamgooderacing8169 Ford manufacturer an almost identical (might even be identical) snorkel for the Everest, with the vehicle being identical to the Ranger at the front end.
Will this work on the 2.3 liter American version

Jubilee clip, what English did you speak, we Australian call it a hose clamp , did my 4”stainless snorkel and JMAX ENGINEERING air box on the piss blind drunk, Had to cut away a lot of of panel but minty
Never heard of a T7 model only the T6 if this actually is a T7 can some one tell me the difference from a T6. I suspect this is an error as it still has the 3.2l motor which is being replaced in 2022
T6 - 2012-2016
T7 - 2016-2019
T8 - 2020- ONARDS

New platform still known as T6 rather than T7 as it is largely carryover

How'd you end up getting them on. Did you make any changes, to bolts? Currently installing mine, and having a shit time just trying to get bolts on. I feel as if bolts are a tad short?? Help pls

@@wuxsta3099 Use longer bolts to fit it and compress the foam, then replace them one by one with the supplied bolts
It looks putrid, well better than a new engine
all drilled holes shall also be protected from rust, deburring (which is good) isn't good enough.
Literally says in the video use rust prevention
@Robdutton91 in all fairness I didn't realize he did so. If he did he was right in doing so.
