GIANT BASS in Clarks Hill Fishing Tournament: POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE Pays Off BIGTIME

Yet another grind of a day on Clarks Hill. My club tournament started off rough with very few bites. I called an audible, and it started to pay off pretty quickly. I broke off a couple fish, and was in a bad spot mentally. I stuck with it, and caught a giant! You always have to keep a positive mental attitude!

I also hope this video gives you a glimpse into the passion and emotion that go into this sport. It's difficult to put into words. The drive, the hunger, the need to find these fish... it's unlike anything else. I started this journey in college while fishing the BASS and FLW college tours, and I had some real success. I had to take a break for a while, but now I'm back. I hope you will follow along as I continue to increase the time I spend fishing with the goal of chasing the professional tour within the next several years. For now, it's about getting better at every aspect of the game. This tournament helped me get better mentally, and that's one of the toughest areas to grow in bass fishing. Until next time...

I'd switch to 20 to 22 lb test for that football jig if that's not what you're already using try tactical or shooter fluorocarbon works for me! And I agree with loving this sport for sure !!

I hear ya! Yeah unfortunately in some of that super knarly rock, there just isn't much you can do sometimes. Typically don't have issues, but just got unlucky I guess. Appreciate your comment! Tight lines!
