thanks big jim. been fishing DH all my life, really enjoy your videos and seeing the perspective of the tournament guys. cant wait to get down there the first week of april
Hey Jim, I have been watching your previous videos as you were dialing in your humminbird units with mega live and target lock. What happened to those units and why did you stop using them?
Hope to see you when I join some of the Music City BFLs as a co-angler I can't make Dale Hollow but I'm planning on doing Tim's Ford and Center Hill it would be nice to pair up with you for a TH-cam Collab
How does the co angler like watching you use the live scope and catch fish while he can’t and doesn’t. Just out of curiosity. Do you think it makes people not want to fish these events as a co? Not trying to start anything I was just wondering.
I have co’d the last two years, for me I’m split. Some boaters are really great resources to learn from so I don’t mind spending a day in the boat learner more than I will catch, I’m not a pro and not trying to be so I co angle with the expectation to be a better fisherman. That being said, it is tough when it’s the first 3-4 tournaments of the year. I understand people not wasting their money and time on it.
Good to see the videos Jim. Dale kicks my butt in these BFLs every spring. I fished this tournament as well. I couldn't get the scope fish to bite either in practice nor could I get bit in the clean part of the lake at all. I ran up the Obey and caught a ton of fish but just like usual the size up those rivers just isn't like the main lake. I ended up with 4 largemouth and a spot for 8lbs 13ounces. That's by far the smallest limit I've ever weighed on that lake and it was by far the smallest limit weighed in Saturday. It was still a fun day of catching at least. My coangler had a bad day of losing fish. He only weighed 1 fish but he lost enough fish at the boat to have a solid top 10
Do you ever fish Tim’s Ford or Woods reservoir? Just watched for first time this morning before I went fishing. Heard them say you was from Lebanon. I live in Franklin County.
@@dterrill5171 the problem is, I did not do good. Scopers had the big bags. I scoped til noon then ran to the points and humps. I should have scoped in a new area.
Thats a really nice boat and setup. Very clean.
Thank you. Too bad I couldn’t catch ‘em that day

Thanks for watching!
I saw in the results that less than have the co- anglers weigh a fish. What's up with that.
Lots of scopers. I tried to fish so my co had the opportunity to fish structure
Jim is right on. These spring tournaments are tough to co angle.
