You'd think that until you realize Hasbro owns both wotc and MLP, and don't need to negotiate with an outside party to secure IP rights for MLP, as they would with any from soft up.
@@Fa11enAngeLIV which is why there already _is_ a my little pony crossover, they did a secret lair for it in 2023. they're all silver-bordered cards though so they're not legal in any formats
The only thing I can see wrong with this deck is purely the fact it doesn't have a blood token subtheme with that being a central part of the game. Either way this deck is getting swiped straight into my buy cart.
I brought this up with my friend, frankly it could easily get a lair drop with renamed inistrad cards as the two share moods and themes heavily to begin with
You cannot stop the loop, as March of the Machines is not a may ability. If someone removes the Artist, and you cant remove Eloise or the enchantment, the game draws
It's not crazy but as an additional cost to cast rottenmouth, you can sacrifice nonland permanents. So if you have tons of clues or clues/foods/treasures and that triggers the Disciple to deal 1 damage. In some cases ive had 25+ artifact tokens. Or marionnette master/marionette apprentice to wipe the entire table
now- bloodborne *would* be cool. however, i *really* wanna see a Warcraft/World of Warcraft set. it's my main video game, so i am biased, but characters like Varian and Vol'Jin would make great MTG cards.
A friend of mine and I spent about an hour making all the characters form the nostromo planeswalkers, making all the slivers an alien crossover, and even making tokens for each specific different card
@ yeah my personal favorite was making the xenomorph queen sliver gravemother, and making the first sliver the specific xenomorph that invaded the ship in the first movie
@@TopdeckTechnah, magic the gathering has it’s own unique world. Small crossovers were fine but I don’t think anyone should want half of the game they love to be Fortnite crossovers in card form.
I agree about wanting the unique stories. That being said, I personally think that Magic needs Universes Beyond to continue to bring people in to the franchise. Prior to UB, the culture, imo was pretty isolated and hard to get in to. As someone who ignored magic several times and was brought in with LOTR Universes Beyond, I dont want to pretend that it's all gloom and doom if there is a consistent 50/50 split. Especially if their story quality continues to be as good as Duskmourn. Alternatively, ill be honest, most people that ive spoken to have no idea what the story or the lore of the sets even are so the complaints about UB are odd
No. No I don't. I don't mind you enjoying the idea but I would prefer they make UB limited numbers of cards via secret lair that's print to demand and hold to their commitment to make UW cards for us who don't want to play with those cards.
Both can happen. Me wanting a crossover isnt asking for whole commander deck releases or anything. Even if it's a secret lair, both can and should exist.
Bloodborne would make more sense in MTG than a My Little Pony crossover.
Hey im not trying to yuck anyone's yum
You'd think that until you realize Hasbro owns both wotc and MLP, and don't need to negotiate with an outside party to secure IP rights for MLP, as they would with any from soft up.
No no, I still wont be yucking anyone's yum. MLP isnt for me but if someone likes it, hell yeah

@@rubyyrare they've done 2 secret lairs for MLP.
We'll have this before a BB remaster
lol my heart
This such a great idea I NEED this deck list
In the description!! 😊
Half of mtg will be universes beyond next year
Yes. 3 of 6 sets will be UB

Id considered it, but the cards were more vampiric and it felt a bit off

Eloise + March of the machines + blood artist goes brrrrrrrr
But if your blood artist gets removed, the game draws
@@0urher0nik0 you can choose to stop the loop I believe. Not 100% it's allowed in the rules, but your table can rule 0 it
You cannot stop the loop, as March of the Machines is not a may ability. If someone removes the Artist, and you cant remove Eloise or the enchantment, the game draws
It’s wild and sort of funny
Always thought Elden Ring or Dark Souls would be a cooler Universes Beyond for Magic
Hey, maybe I’m just dumb, but how does the rottenmouth combo work? I wanna build this deck as well

A crossover I want is the alien franchise, think of the xenomorphs as slivers
YEHHHH that is so sick!

Is there a link to where we can look at the deck

Isn't a Bloodborne themed deck just a deck with only cards from Innistrad?
Mmmm no. Strongly disagree. Innistrad has vampires and angels and werewolves and Bloodborne has a lot more to it than “dark gothic”
This is what duskmorn should have been.
Oh nahhh i love the original lore of duskmourn
@TopdeckTech no duskmorn is the worst flavored set in magic. It feels less like magic then most universes beyond sets.
Oh entirely disagree. I think some of the cards are doofy but the lore, Valgavoth, the cult, the plane and the glimmers are all sick and flavorful
@TopdeckTech theres a tv and a ghost vacuume.
Yes? Because technology existed on the plane before Valgavoth? Just because it isnt high fantasy doesnt mean its bad
I would prefer all of the souls series and the like, not just blood born
Honestly same. It’s just my favorite of them
@@TopdeckTech completely fair
No i don’t I don’t even know what bloodborne is….
Ohhhhh we gotta teach you
No. I am so tired of "Universe beyond" bs. Give me originality.
There were 4 original sets this year. Somehow, i think you're fine
