It does show promise they still need to refine some of the skills hope they don't nerf to soon anyway I would swap a flex spot for burning smoke screen so you can jump back leave an aoe burning and use your range skills then gale rush back in to refresh stacks.
Spear of resistance gives 20 distance. Full mage gear swift set and rings gives 45 distance. Queen Bellendere staff has 19.5m distance. I think in gvg this will allow staff to outrange enemy and lead to some great camper spots up high.
spear main stats are HIT and Crit !!! everything else just bonuses. staff cd , mana reg, skill boost dmg , so i think possible make smtg in between at T1 . T2 ppl lack hit so much at spear so i hope they fix that too till we get T2
@ with enough cool down you can maintain like 80% uptime and that’s 120% dmg per second plus stacking ignites that explode for 480% dmg so tons of free cost skills
It heals as much as it deals dmg. The more people around you or mobs that aura can hit the more heal you get. It doesn't apply to other skills. Its useless for Staff users. Its good for SNS tho.
PVE maybe but PVP its bad. Its kinda range but no really. You cant escape, you cant burst and get out. SO you can enter and you die that's it. Staying at range and just nuking is much better
the one that i can think staff spear gonna viable in pvp is in GvG situation or where there's a massive amount of players at once. arena? it's bad ofc. but yeah, correct me if i'm wrong
@@something9048 Actually I tryed it today in Friendly GvG. UH. I had to stop 5 mins before the end, because it just doesn't do enough in comparison to staff/dagger. You go ham in and next you know you are perma stuned and you die. Or you just get hit by 10 Flash waves and you are done. If you manage to survive, dmg output is not there in comparison to full Staff AOE burst. I don't see it Used in PVP at all. People are pushing hard for it like SOL. But man it's just bad. I mean is fun to play staff/spear but the results are worse then staff/dagger or staff/Bow

If you going Flame build, you don't get Burst stacks. Careful Burst is not Ignite
And people will see this and follow the build… im sad about these poor souls.

if you read alot of the tooltips the abilities scale with ignite OR bursting stacks depending on your build

yeah but i dont think its working correctly atm, it really only gives life when the aura itself deals damage for some reason
