Everyone test your oil at 2000 miles the 2.0 is getting fuel in the oil at a high rate and probably needs changed at 3000.0 miles or less keep a eye on it
I do want to know about your new camper. In fact I was looking at small trailer YT videos for possible units to tow behind my Maverick and i noticed this video on the side feed. LOL. Thanks for your informative videos Tim.
A couple things I either missed or wasn't expressed. Most states have limits Michigan is 4ft over sides or length has to have a flag of minimum 18 square inches on the furthest piece. For hauling when it extends past the vehicle when hauling. Second the maximum tongue weight that can be used on the Ford Maverick WITH 4K tow package is 400lbs. Third I was surprised but depending on cargo including passengers etc technically you may not be able to tow 4000lbs or the weight of the tongue will but you over manufacturers max payload. Thanks for the video
Conversely, if you have a hitch adapter to pull the Maverick itself, what is the maximum pulling strength that can be applied on the hitch receiver. The typical recovery gear straps and pulley and winches are much greater than 2000 lbs.; not uncommon to be 10x greater.
Don't forget to add, for a little extra security, an inexpensive Apple Airtag anti theft locator placed somewhere on your trailer and in addition to your trailer coupler lock, also a tow hitch receiver pin lock so they can't easily take your whole ball setup by simply pulling the pin and sliding it out. Harbor Freight and others sell an inexpensive TRAILER HITCH TRIPLE BALL W/ HOOK to cover all eventualities! Now safely, go have fun!
You could. The only advantage would be a trailer brake controller. So you would need to add an aftermarket TBC. If your trailer has a 7 pin hookup, you can buy a 7-4 pin adapter for lights.
Lástima que mi maverick hybrid es un dolor de cabeza, no se si a muchos les sucede lo mismo que yo. Muchos problemas y no se si ecoboost es mejor que híbrida
I know you love your job 👍✌️😎

Great point that I didn't cover on hauling long loads, thanks.
Thank-you
I enjoy and appreciate your maverick videos, and I know I am being selfish, but how about having some terrain color mavericks?
Good common sense advice. 🙂
Excellent and informative video! Thanks so much!

Can you add a 5 or 7 pin and brake control after the fact?
