The modes customization is interesting and easy to do, I'd love to see that in smaller form factor lights! Too chunky for me, but it's versatile and always nice to have accessories in the pack, but that lanyard looks uncomfortable like it would give a rash if it's moved around too much, with that much weight. If I had this as a kid in the countryside I'd stay all night outside, since then I had a love for lights, especially the ones you could zoom! Can't remember how many lights I lost to water damage, falling on rocks, mud, water buckets, animals food...

Yes, having a flashlight as a kid is really fun. I remember some games of tag on my friend’s cul de sac that were really fun at night. Today’s flashlights can light up the whole block haha.
I have both the black and white X2, the high cri is nice. I also have the white X1, this is where the problem's begin, screws work themselves lose and the battery from fully charged goes solid red super fast. Nice review
I have the white x2 with samsung lh351d leds. Nice design, easy to carry and have a nice and even beam profile. The ui is easy to use and overall its a compact powerhouse with max1800 lumens with the samsung leds.
Never heard of Wuben (I'm a flashlight noob). It seems like a really good EDC flashlight especially with the wedge profile of the body, I do agree about the non removable battery being a negative but the positives really outweigh that. It is interesting to see so many accessories included with the flashlight other companies should pick up on that especially the more premium ones.
I got an X3 as a Christmas present. There's a lot I like about these Wuben lights but I don't like the pocket clips. Though if that's all I can complain about the lights must be pretty good.
Yes, good point. I do wish the clip allowed for a deeper carry. it’s still a good option - especially for the 5th pocket, in my opinion. Now that I think of it, perhaps removing the clip and adding a smaller lanyard might be best.
