I love this, and I love how she mentions not just the vintage items she has, but also stuff from crate and barrel, restoration hardware etc. I respect that transparency. And it is always a little annoying to me (personally of course, I don’t speak for anyone else), when people show their beautiful apartments and the only two things they talk about are the vintage thrifted stuff or DIY’d stuff. I understand that those items have more personal stories that they want to share, but hey- just point out the fact that’s not the norm in your apartment, that you do shop at west elm for 95% of it? I dunno, just a pet peeve I suppose.
I appreciate this comment :) my home is a combination of such furniture stores and vintage / family pieces. I have the same pet peeve too... :)
She seems like a very sweet person, definitely an old soul..love her style, her home and the way she talked of her mom.

This apartment is incredible! Lale did an amazing job with the design - I love her choices. Wow. It is dreamy and functional. That bedroom! I could never leave.
Awesome apt. $4000 would be 5 months mortgage for me,I can not imagine paying 4 grand...wow
it has an ultra expensive view. i could sleep on their rooftop every night and felt rich. lol
Believe it or not that isn't even a luxury or expensive amount to pay. I work in consulting and most of my friends pay around that much for rent in Manhattan or Brooklyn.
I like that she wears comfy shoes. Makes her more real. No one walks around in high heels in NYC unless they want to destroy their feet, or they’re only walking from the taxi to the restaurant.
Yes! For the comfy shoes !! … but not inside the home 😣 especially with how dirty NYC streets are. Hopefully these are only house shoes.

Either you are very petite or this sofa is really gigantic! Love it though. Great video, thank you for sharing. One thing I’ve noticed about apartment tours on TH-cam. When guys do it it’s all about hardwood floors, TVs, load bearing walls, southern exposure. When girls do it it’s all about their lamps, knickknacks that they’ve bought off some street vendors, pillows that remind them of their parents or whatever

Lale's furniture collection is very luxurious looking. I love the antique lamp by the sofa. Her story at the end about how she acquired the John Steinbeck quotation artwork was sweet.

I love how you’ve decorated your apartment with high quality beautiful pieces of furniture. It’s obvious you have a great sense of design so may I ask why you’ve hung your wall art so high up? It’s such a design no-no. Hanging your prints so high doesn’t make your ceiling look taller if that’s what you we’re trying to achieve. Your bedroom is absolutely stunning w/the whites and those windows.

That bed is a wrong choice, you can barely walk around it. The platform takes up over a foot past the mattress. No room for a little side table.
