Yeah I can feel your pain.. I had multiple girls who would text non stop over the weekend and then suddenly starts texting only smiles or 1 word messages, shows no interest at all.. I hate that feeling where you know you just wasted multiple hours texting someone which is worthless to you. Also its important to see that shes not playing with you as well as some will use opportunity to gain your compliments, attention just to make herself feel good that day.. I went a date with a girl and it went really well, we hung out for several hours, great convo and banter. She even texted me the following day. She also expressed interest in attending this event that I invited her to, but was ultimately unable. We were texting a little and she was very responsive at first, then a day later, things shifted and she just stopped. I was getting one response every 24 hours, but she would also lazily volley the question back at me with a "What about you?" Which kept the convo going. Making one last attempt, I texted and asked her out again, this time she just ignored it completely. This has been my dating life in a nutshell. Things seem great, then suddenly... ghosted.

Yep. Unless you have self-respect they are not going to like you. So, chasing a girl if she explicitly says that she does not want you does not make sense. On the other hand, I do not think it is a good strategy to try to attract one girl by dating others. This is very manipulative and not nice. I generally agree that the friend zone is forever but there are exceptions and they don't require manipulation. I have gotten out of the friend zone a couple of times without trying. In my experience, if you do something that causes her to see you in a different light that suddenly makes you appealing to her in some way, you stand a good chance of getting out of the friend zone. A girlfriend I had for 3 years, we were initially friends for almost a year. I literally watched my last gf go through the cycle: immediate/ multiple text replies, yes to EVERYTHING (she was in "the program" and she said yes to our first date at a brewery!!), writing my love notes, giving me gifts. One day, the messages got further spaced away, going days before replying, flaking on our plans, never being available, texting other guys very intimate stuff. This is all good advice - being rejected happens to the best of us and it's an essential part of growing up and part of life. Being rejected can be very funny and make for a great story down the line. You can't make her like you, so accept it. Move forwards and upwards.
From my experience in being rejected as well as girls being interested in me is that they will make it known when they like you. They won't flat out tell you but the vibe will be very strong and the hints will be very obvious. Depending on how you pursue the girl that isn't interested in you however, you won't get a direct answer either, which is why it's important to just step up and ask especially if you're unsure. Alot of the times they will pay you the respect in saying yes or no.

It’s really not that complicated but because of our emotions and not wanting to accept the truth we try to overthink it. Let me dumb it down for everyone: if she responds to your texts right away or as soon as she is actually available, doesn’t send short responses like its a burden, and when you ask her out she does everything to make it a priority. If she can’t make it, she’ll apologize and go out of her way to find an alternative. When a girl wants a man, she’ll put in the effort to go get it.

Yes, I once tried for years to get someone I liked interested in me by trying to get a conversation going, bringing her little gifts showing how sensitive I was, cards every season - tokens of my affection. Nothing, not looking up or at me, no responses. When I stopped talking to her and just walked past her she could not stand it, she then said hi to me. Too late, I'm civil but stopped the chase and know I'm better off for it.

Its okay to be friend zoned. When a woman puts me in the zone i put her there too. I am very clear to her that i am honored to be her friend but being a friend means limiting how much i am willing to invest. Friends dont pay for a friends dinner 3 times a week and they dont spend each evening chatting on the phone. Back in high school, there was this girl I was madly in love with. Was always nice to her and treated her with respect. But regardless, she would never give me the time of day. And that goes to show just what kind of person she truly was: I mean if she would do something as sneaky and disrespectful as that to her best friend (calling me behind her back while we were STILL dating and then suddenly wanting to go out with me, KNOWING that I was still dating her best friend) imagine what she probably would have done to me later on! It's safe to say they were no longer friends after that... A wise man once told me: _"What women want most is what they can't have ... but sometimes they'll do whatever they can just to get it!"_
Man, what a vile thing to do to her 'friend', but it all makes sense given her attraction to 'bad boys'. But still, you should be worried that this was/is her best friend and I'm afraid like tends to attract like.
If someone did that to me, I would be suspicious that she was testing me on her friend's behalf. More likely in your case she just wanted to get one up on her friend for her ego. I know plenty of men who do that - just so you know they are top dog in your social group. She probably would have turned her back on you once she got one up on her friend. On the other hand, people (both men and women) do tend to want what they can't have so playing hard to get is valid sometimes.
From the perspective of being in a 30 year marriage, I can say that some dating drama in the beginning is normal. The dating drama is worth it if both partners are committed to the relationship. Too much drama is a bad sign, walk away don't force the situation. Find the right life partner and you will spend many decades in a peaceful relationship.

I have three younger sisters all my cousins were girls pretty much too. All the family vacations we took with friends their kids were girls. Great advice Courtney. I was recently dating a woman overseas and she pretty much did all the things you mentioned. Even though we were in Eastern Europe, women are women everywhere you go and she displayed a lot of these signs/behaviors. Yep. Unless you have self-respect they are not going to like you. So, chasing a girl if she explicitly says that she does not want you does not make sense. On the other hand, I do not think it is a good strategy to try to attract one girl by dating others. This is very manipulative and not nice. I generally agree that the friend zone is forever but there are exceptions and they don't require manipulation. I have gotten out of the friend zone a couple of times without trying. In my experience, if you do something that causes her to see you in a different light that suddenly makes you appealing to her in some way, you stand a good chance of getting out of the friend zone. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does, take advantage.
I really appreciated it when a woman told me that she already had male friends and that she did not want to hurt me. I felt that it was a very clear way to communicate that there was nothing going to happen despite our connection and mutual experience of each other's humor. Oh, well. Her loss.

Exactly! the biggest indicator is LACK OF EFFORT ON HER PART. If she blows off a date and isnt pushing for another time (then actually follows through on that other time), then she isnt into you.

in my experience, as a male. I've friend zoned females. Only to later actually be attracted to them as I got to know them. So I'm sure this can apply to us guys. I've had it happen myself where I girl I liked, I swore hated me at times. And later, after a year or so of being around each other and mutual friends, was apparent she was interested in me. Fuck this friend zone bullshit. Just be around people you like, and things may or may not happen. Just don't force it. Be genuine.
A girlfriend I had for 3 years, we were initially friends for almost a year. I wasn't really sexually attracted to her at first, but as we spent more time together playing games or hanging out with friends, I develop that sexual attraction and it took almost a whole year from the first time we met to finally getting together.

Be straightforward and blunt about what you want from them, tell them you wanna be more than just friends and want a real relationship. If the answer is anything but a resounding yes, walk away. Don't be upset, sad or ask them what would it take to make them say yes. Just, act cool as if it's no big deal and walk away. There are plenty of people out there. I literally watched my last gf go through the cycle: immediate/ multiple text replies, yes to EVERYTHING (she was in "the program" and she said yes to our first date at a brewery!!), writing my love notes, giving me gifts. One day, the messages got further spaced away, going days before replying, flaking on our plans, never being available, texting other guys very intimate stuff. I asked her, and she said I was imagining it. A few months of this, and I finally told her I was done. Wish I had those last few months back, but glad I learned the lesson (I hope!)

This happened with me too. I made mistakes too, but that girlfriend of mine was engaging in such things before I made any mistake. The first month was intense with a lot of demand to communicate a lot and she would be constantly upset about different many things and I had to please her even though I also made everything that bothered me clear to her and we discussed things even many times. From my experience in being rejected as well as girls being interested in me is that they will make it known when they like you. They won't flat out tell you but the vibe will be very strong and the hints will be very obvious. Depending on how you pursue the girl that isn't interested in you however, you won't get a direct answer either, which is why it's important to just step up and ask especially if you're unsure. Alot of the times they will pay you the respect in saying yes or no.

Yes, I once tried for years to get someone I liked interested in me by trying to get a conversation going, bringing her little gifts showing how sensitive I was, cards every season - tokens of my affection. Nothing, not looking up or at me, no responses. When I stopped talking to her and just walked past her she could not stand it, she then said hi to me. Too late, I'm civil but stopped the chase and know I'm better off for it.

Its okay to be friend zoned. When a woman puts me in the zone i put her there too. I am very clear to her that i am honored to be her friend but being a friend means limiting how much i am willing to invest. She would laugh at my jokes and always tell me how funny I am, she would tell me she doesn’t want me to leave when I go to finish work, she was quitting her job soon and would tell me she is going to miss this and maybe I could visit at her new work, her co-workers would tease me about her when she wasn’t around. Well guess what? I ended up meeting ... and then DATING her best friend, who I felt I had a better connection with anyways. Well, when she later found out that I was dating her best friend, she managed to get my number from a close associate of ours ... and actually had the nerve to call me and ask "So when are we going out on that date??" Me, with a confused look on my face, said "NEVER!" and then I hung up on her! 😂 BEST. FEELING. EVER!
And that goes to show just what kind of person she truly was: I mean if she would do something as sneaky and disrespectful as that to her best friend (calling me behind her back while we were STILL dating and then suddenly wanting to go out with me, KNOWING that I was still dating her best friend) imagine what she probably would have done to me later on! It's safe to say they were no longer friends after that...

Man, what a vile thing to do to her 'friend', but it all makes sense given her attraction to 'bad boys'. But still, you should be worried that this was/is her best friend and I'm afraid like tends to attract like.

If someone did that to me, I would be suspicious that she was testing me on her friend's behalf. More likely in your case she just wanted to get one up on her friend for her ego. I know plenty of men who do that - just so you know they are top dog in your social group. She probably would have turned her back on you once she got one up on her friend. On the other hand, people (both men and women) do tend to want what they can't have so playing hard to get is valid sometimes.

From the perspective of being in a 30 year marriage, I can say that some dating drama in the beginning is normal. The dating drama is worth it if both partners are committed to the relationship. Too much drama is a bad sign, walk away don't force the situation. Find the right life partner and you will spend many decades in a peaceful relationship.

back in the 70s, I was given the advice of - never let them know you are interested - make them come to you -- its kind of the same thing that this girl is saying -- let her show you or just move on

I have three younger sisters all my cousins were girls pretty much too. All the family vacations we took with friends their kids were girls. I've had a lot of feminine influence in my life and yet it's never translated to a healthy relationship. Honestly fellas just love yourself, work out, do semen retention, mediate be the highest vibrational self you can be. Most females today are super insecure and have no idea who they really are. I've been destroyed and heart broken so many times. Couple were from girls that friend zoned me and the worst was the one that actually was my girlfriend but manipulated me and used me. They are very beautiful creatures but so many of them aren't in tune with their divine feminine energy. Hope this can inspire someone because I've accepted that being alone is best for me minus my red nose pitbull whom happens to be female.

Great advice Courtney. I was recently dating a woman overseas and she pretty much did all the things you mentioned. Even though we were in Eastern Europe, women are women everywhere you go and she displayed a lot of these signs/behaviors. I wish I had watched this video before I met her but I probably still would have tried to make it work because when it's happening to you, you tend to hope for the best despite the signs she's sending you (ie "Love is blind.")

You’re absolutely right. You don’t go to a party you haven’t been invited to. You’d be shocked at how weird some people are, interfering in other peoples friendships, declaring social wars by telling people not to invite them, asking people to block them and then wondering WHY those people stopped talking to one another or WHY the target/victim doesn’t have contact.
Some people have an incessant need to create DRAMA in other peoples lives, friendships and relationships by interfering, making false assessments and trying to steer ships that aren’t theirs to steer to begin with. Not your friendship. Not your time, effort or reputation. Not your sensibilities. Poke your nose out. Intrusion kills intimacy, trust, support and loyalty.
If they're not jumping in your lap to be with you, they don't want you. There. That's all the advice you'll ever need.
