- In this video we test the KasWare Beta Wallet and KRC20 Minting process on the Kaspa Testnet to better understand KasWare's new "Auto Mint" feature that. We also review best practices for anyone attempting to mint more than one KRC20 token simultaneously.

Thank you so much for your detailed and descriptive tutorial. It was extremely helpful. So I'll need to add another account/address, install, in my case, Kasware to another browser, open the wallet to the second address and make sure the funds are in that new account and then I can mint at the same time using 2 different browsers, correct? Now quick question, what happens if I mint the tokens back to back under the same address. for example, I wait until minting of Nacho is done, then proceed to mint Kasper under the same address, will this cause an issue with storing multiple KRC20 tokens under the same address? Or are you suggesting to use 2 browsers/profiles because the minting process is time sensitive? Thanks so much! So 1 KAS is equal to 1 KRC20 equivilent token, correct? Thanks again.
No issues with that at all. You can swap back and forth minting two tokens on one wallet. Just need two wallets if you want to do two simultaneously.

It is not about your computer, it is about the Kaspa network

It should update automatically. Just restart your browser fresh before starting minting. That will instigate any needed updates.

As far as gas fees . Ur saying if i mint 1000 that is 1000 kas so currelty $180 ?
Yep, but you'll have a bit more gas fees than just that for txn processing. I've been using 1.1 KAS per mint as a good baseline estimate, but real gas cost will depend on network conditions.

You do NOT lose the whole batch. Each mint is processed independently, completely confirmed and complete before the next is processed. You'll only lose the remaining. So, arguably their would be no difference.
Im new to this, so the kas balance in both accounts is how much kas you’ve transferred to the wallet and since in the vid it’s all a test when you mint the coins you don’t actually spend the kas ??
And when krc20 goes live you’re gonna do this but in the kaspa mainnet network instead of the kaspa testnet?
sorry just wanted to clarify, the difference between minting and deploy is minting is the basically a way to purchase existing KRC20 tokens and Deploying is to create new ones for people to buy?
Yes Mint is for the public to purchase and Deploy is how projects create/deploy a token that the public can later mint using the Mint tab.

Minted nacho, whilst minting my nacho, balance did not increase but kaspa decreased. Cancelled and said successful mint, but nacho quantity did not show any difference, but kaspa has decreased?!

Never mind again kind of confused.. what part did you say wouldn’t be possible . Minting 2 of the SAME tickers or different tickers at the SAME TIME.
The key is unique wallets. You can do it like this:
Chrome Profile A = Wallet Address A = Token A
Chrome Profile B = Wallet Address B = Token B (or A again)
organization is the key

Why is Twitter saying that automation was closed? Kaspa silver is saying there was a deadline for setting up auto minting.
I believe that deadline was for Kaspa Kats.
Yes, this is right. That was for Kaspa Cats. and its not even real auto-minting. They just preallocated the whole supply and are selling it to users.

In theory, the only limit is your compute power, # of wallets, and quantity of Kaspa. You could extrapolate my video to higher quantities if done properly.
is KRC20 account based or does it run on the utxo of Kasps?
This is a fantastic question. KRC20 in indexed outside of Kaspa, while all transactions are confirmed on the KAS Blockdag. So the real answer to your question is neither. But it is far more similar to Account-based and not UTXO. Where BRC20/Runes need to be included in individual Satoshi's and are then subject to UXTO bloat and divisions, KRC20 does not suffer any of these UTXO-based issues.

Yes, exactly. & have some extra kas in their for gas fees. Maybe 150 extra kas for 1000 mints

Mint is going to be challenging..definitely there's gonna be traffic which might result in errors, not sure how Kas development team would handle this?
Kaspa is a pretty resilient network. It is arguably built for this. I bet we have some congestion but otherwise the network just hums right along. We will see, no one knows until they do.

It is PoW, but you need an ASIC these days.
