    Looked like mine earlier , looks nice now . I have asterinas too but added a harlequin shrimp last week , he’ll have plenty to eat 😀. Tank looks great love the big colonies. Mines a mixture of some colonies and frags, love anacropora corals I have 4 now a green like you , a green with darker polyps , a grey and a small red that looked like it was going but has recovered . Thanks for doing more vids realise it’s hard work editing . For some reason it stopped notifying me when you put vid up, I’ve put the bell on again 👍

    Your tank looks awesome when I clean the algae in my tank about as often as you do I make sure I do not get close to the seals with a razor blade I'm glad I am glad my tanks not very deep I can use a mr. Clean scrubbing pad they're very safe in saltwater and are very good at removing algae close to the seals other than that I used my magnet with a razor blade all over the glass but around the seals I'm very careful also a small toothbrush comes in handy

    Even dirty your tank is gorgeous!
    Well done!
    Please, I would like to know how can your sand be as white as this? Could you share the trick? Sand stirrer? Cuc( what and how many?)nothing? (I won't believe you 😅)
    Happy new year! Happy reefing!

      Happy New Year. I think the tank is now quite stable and mature which helps with the sand color - there's not that much open space there. I did have a sand sifting goby for a week that seemed to have really helped - but he just jumped. I don't do anything special for the sand - so if you look a couple of weeks back at the videos - you'll see my regular sand condition.

    Are you happy with your tank? I’m looking at the Waterbox xl 190.4 but I’m hesitant because of the internal overflow. What are the dimensions of the overflow inside the tank? Do you have any videos of a side shoot? Curious how close your rocks are to the back and front panels. Awesome system btw

      Hi Gino, I am happy with the tank although would always prefer an external overflow on any tank if this were an option. If you look back into a few of my other videos you will see my rockwork and I go around the tank regularly so I hope that will give you an idea. One thing I do like about this aquarium is that overflow is glass so easier to clean, what I do not like is that the teeth are not removable - so coralline gets in there.

    Recommend a pink spot watchman goby. Only one that’s lived 2+ years for me.

    Congratulations on the aquarium!
    How do you add Ca, Kh, Mg?
    Add potassium, iodine ...?
    Amino acids?
    Coral food?
    Do you do water changes?
    Thanks!!

    Is it ok to have one male lyretail in a 50 gallon? The recommendation was 120 gallons! I dont see why they need such a large tank!

    • @TreasureCorals
      @TreasureCorals  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Should be fine, but try to make sure you feed it regularly. Also - he would probably benefit from a couple of female companions.

    do u ever accidentally sratch the glass

    • @TreasureCorals
      @TreasureCorals  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that's one downside of may low iron tanks - they scratch very easily, even when I take every precaution of watching out for pieces of sand getting stuck to the magnet.

      Never seen him do it, however - when I had introduced a feather duster to the tank - he was gone pretty quickly.

      @@insectkiller2005 :) it could be based on an individual, I have found that they all differ - some would not eat any aiptasia at all, so maybe it makes sense replace it with a cousin?

      You have a good eye - this little fella came to my from my friend's aquarium that he was shutting down, this fish must be at least 12 years old, but maybe older. No matter how much I feed it never gained any weight but seems to be doing alright.
