Labyrinth zones boss battle is also a remake of a master system boss

The way I see it, each boss in Doctor Robotnik’s Plan B teaches you something different.
Green Hill: spin dashing
Marble: damage boosting
Spring Yard: precision jumping
Labyrinth: maintaining oxygen
Star Light: aiming your jumps
Scrap Brain: maintaining speed
Underrated
Sonic 1 but Robotnik actually uses his brain

If he used his brain he would make it even harder for sonic and not give him some help go destroy him
lol. Robotnik is both super super smart, but also can be a little dumb sometimes. I think that's why I love the character xD
@@BlueTelevisionGames y'know, if you dive deep into the ability of Dr. Robotnik, you'd find that he's not only smart with an IQ of 300, he is also really strong and fast, and super rich. at least the modern version. I'm not sure how strong classic robotnik is.
also, my favorite boss was the final zone boss, cause it's like sonic triple trouble(when are we getting more episodes?)

Fun fact: Some of the bosses are actually completely taken instead of inspired, such as Labyrinth Zone's Boss from Sonic 1 SMS' Labyrinth Boss and the Final Boss from Sonic Triple Trouble's Final Boss.
And the first boss is based a Little bit on the first boss of the sonic advance

The OG Sonic Boss Fight music made you feel like you were about to do the most important thing in your life...epic.
They’re all actually quite creative, but the Spring Yard Zone and Labyrinth Zone bosses seemed like the most well thought out - and most challenging!
Labyrinth is actually a copy-paste of its Master System/Game Gear counterpart. Not original.
There ia some call backs to 8bit sonic 1 in that rom hack, pretty cool

The Scrap Brain Zone boss reminds me of this scene in Persona 5 where Joker & Ryuji are exploring Kamoshida's Palace & they see a group of volleyball students running on a treadmill with spikes at the end of the treadmill so that if they starting running too slow they die. Really cool to see Sonic ROM Hacks giving nods to other Sega franchises even if in this instance it probably wasn't intentional
I think the scrap brain boss is inspired by the quartz quadrant boss from sonic cd

in my opinion the third is simpler than the original. it is longer, but floor blocks are not destroyed immediately and you can get rings easily

Thank you for all the awesome Sonic uploads. These Sonic hacks seem to be getting better and better. So much fun and creativity . This was one was real crazy and fun, love seeing all the bosses change. I have to say i enjoyed Marble Zone, Spring Yard and Star Light. All of the were all fun. Plan C.

The labyrinth Zone boss is from the 8-bit version of Sonic 1 on the Game Gear and Master System. The scrap brain first phase is the Quartz Quadrant boss from Sonic CD.
And Marble’s first phase is Ice Cap from Sonic 3, I believe.

The Boss in scrap brain zone, reminds me of the one from sonic cd
Dr. Robotnik's Plan C? If this was in the real Sonic, i would have failed at marble . . . actually I would have just damage boosted. This was a very cool idea, a sort of hard mode for Sonic 1 bosses. The Scrap Brain boss was kind of like Quartz Quadrant from Sonic CD. I really can't decide between Spring Yard and Final Zone, they are both really good! I hope we see more of these cool Boss changing ROM hacks, they are really cool!

gotta go with the final boss quite a faithful recreation of the game gear/master system final boss
As a bit of a correction the labyrinth zone boss in this ROM hack is kind of similar to the labyrinth zone Bossfight in sonic 1 8-bit and yes there are two versions of sonic one and the eight bit version is on both the Sega master system and the Sega game gear
Fun fact:the boss fight in labyrinth zone is actually the one from the 8-bit version of sonic 1(which you should play).

I know why you use the Mario voice for the battles with Robotnik is because Mario is doing the commenting on the fight between Robotnik and Sonic.
The first part of Scrap Brain Zone Act B reminds me of The Sonic CD Quartz Quadrant Boss.
You should get a Chaos Emerald if you beat the fight without taking damage and without dying once throughout the whole hack.

Labyrinth Zone's boss is actually Sonic 1 8-bit's version of the Labyrinth Zone boss, and it's probably my favourite boss in the hack!
