I’ve never understood why anyone would be surprised by Aurora writing and performing something that’s so upbeat,if you read about what she likes doing,like spending time at raves and Dancing which she loves doing at times all by herself, it’s understandable for me that she would want to experience and do different things with her own music and put her own style into it.what makes her unique is she nails it every time for she encompasses every aspect of the art of music in her performances, like no other artist she takes you to the very place’s that she sings about,you see what she sees,you feel what she feels her songs are her children and you can visibly see how much they mean to her in every performance,it’s why we cry,laugh,smile along with her.I’ve called her a Genius on many occasions but more than that she’s one of the most beautiful humble human souls and I’m beyond blessed to have her words of poetry her children in my life.❤️
She said at the beginning, it was experimental, presumably trying to sing it, just accompanied by an acoustic guitar, and no layered vocals. But it was flawless. She must have an incredible musical mind to be able to recreate a studio produced version, live, but without the production assistance. But she does it time and time again, improvising to make up for the lack of production assistance. To be honest, I never liked live versions of other artists, tracks and songs, because none were that good. Okay, if you at the concert, you get carried away by the moment. But listen to a recording, and they are very sub-par. Of course it varies. And excellent musicians, can do great performances, if the studio version is more or less, and straight recording and not a highly produced version. But Aurora, is the only artist I've ever seen and heard, where her live performances, are if anything technically better than the studio version. I never saw any glitches in your video and nice reaction.
Hi Ashlena, i am agree, Aurora and Fredrik is increadible in a acoustic setting as always. We are now in december so i would recomend a Christmas song by Aurora - Stjernestøv (stardust in English), but she sings this song in Norwegian, her dialect from Bergen, magical. 🎄😍
Cool! Surprised at many of her songs, and if one doesn't click immediately (most do), I know there will be a version later where it all makes sense 😊. She doesn't make it easy on herself though. Looks really hard to do live.

The "glitching" in the video is the video itself. This recording is from a Chinese site. I watched the whole thing and it was very sweet. What is surprising though is that the whole album "The Gods We Can Touch" just passed the Chinese censorship. Even Aurora expressed surprise by that on Norwegian national TV. When we all know the hard and difficult (and dare I say provocative) topics that Aurora brings up in her poetry, it is a big surprise indeed. About Aurora's voice. I first saw her 8 years ago now and back then she was this raw talent. Her voice was this beautiful instrument she was starting to master. Eight years later and here we are. Lovely reaction and this is a really impressive first-time performance of this song- and I love Frederik’s bossa nova rhythm in the middle. Aurora is just so adorable. I can't stand it. The original is still my favorite, but I always love her acoustic songs and performances. I was a bit surprised to see that she didn't have her ear monitors in. I wonder if that's part of her new experimentation, or if she just didn't have them with her. 😂

But has anyone written that the sort of red ... scarf (?) she's wearing, which is beautiful and probably a piece of traditional clothing, has just been given to her by a fan on stage? She never disappoints, does she? As much as I love her voice here, I could even watch this without the sound. Her personality shines through so much with her emotions and her interactions with the audience. She's only becoming a better performer as she gets older. She's always so humble and so authentic. I agree with you. This is really good, but there is definitely room for improvement. I think what makes this special is watching her perform it. I think for just the audio portion, the studio version is much better. But I think future live performances may very well exceed the studio version, as they often do.

Before this song the audience were invited to present their gifts to her , many homemade items that some must have taken hours to complete , the red thing (sorry im a man) that's around her neck was one of them . the girl was asked to fit it for Aurora , she was so happy.
