I just wanted to comment on Aurora knowing about your Aurora Tuesdays: It seems Aurora knows many of her fans. I have seen her wave to particular fans, often youtubers, but she must have a phenomenal memory, perhaps combined with a unique interest in her fans. Adam Straughan, another youtuber who reacts to music and often to Aurora, told us about a chance he had to meet and greet with Aurora someplace in England and as it was his turn to talk to her she just instantly greeted him with "Hello, Adam".
Imagine being star struck and gobsmacked at the same time! She knew him and he had no idea.

In a Norwegian talk show she said she used to name some of the decimals in Pi to relax, but she said it was a long time ago.

And to think she had a cold in this live event. And one member of the band got sick right before this event so they had to improvise quite a bit. I for one is just loving all of her studio work. All the intricate variation in her music that would be almost impossible to replicate on stage. Edit: This is not my favorite version but to see Aurora on stage is always a treat.

Happy Birthday!!! after seeing this video I'm even more exited for the concert. Something is definitely up with the backup vocal for this performance, could be the mic, I remember seeing the first your blood concert and feeling like it not polished enough. Considering the fact that by the time the December concert comes around Aurora would have had the time to figure out what worked and what doesn't work for the live performance of the new songs. Hopefully I can make it to the live stream.

I'd like to add that although she is perfection every single live performance including this one, you can always tell a lot of them are either improvised or may need more rehearsal (especially when she forgets the lyrics it's so cute LOL) but the performance and her voice still come out so good. I actually find her little mess ups sort of funny

These little appearances she does live seem to be like practice sessions , this will a small promotion gig in front of a few people . I was lucky to be at one of these gigs "about 50/60"ish of us when she was promoting A different kind of human , she sang Apple Tree and kept messing up and as you can imagine she just laughed it off. Its a good way of getting feedback / reaction etc I suppose but it was this that attitude that made me fall for her and her music . P.s I miss Silja Sol

Happy Birthday Ashlena🌹✨💫🥰 The harmonies she was singing were correct. They are a little intricate at that part. They probably just had a quick run through at the sound check before the show. Amalie was sick and this was her first time joining Aurora and Fredrick. There will also usually be two girls doing harmonies. This was a very intimate try out set up for the album launch.

Your points a quite valid but it is the first performance. Six days later it was more refined ...
Aurora may not like rehearsing and practising but, being a professional, she does do it (although many like to believe not).
There's a lot going on between the three of them ... The clapping and foot stomping are obvious, not quite so obvious is Amalie using a kick-drum pedal and Fedrick, shoeless, manipulating a lot of different effects with his feet.

Happy Birthday, Ash! I was tempted to get tickets to the Toronto show because it's closer to my birthday by a few days, but it was more expensive since I would need a domestic passport. My show is only a few days before yours, though! November 29th! I do think it's still a bit early to have many good live performances of the songs from this album. And I'm assuming she will have a full band for the NA tour, so I think it will be much different from the performances I've seen so far. I really hope when she plays this song on tour that she goes full dance mode. I also don't want to learn the clap. I'm not coordinated enough, and I'm intimidated by it. 🤣😂 I do see what you mean about the backup singer. It seems like she lost her place in the song for a moment. The good news is that they have plenty of time to perfect the live performances before our shows!

Few day prior the back-vocaliste ( I don't know her name) was sick and for this one Aurora is sick ( a litle cold) they did few show like this one to prensent the album and were practicing on doing it loll Aurora said that the 3 of them is not the full band, so probably will never be perfome this way again. I agree with you that this performance was just a little rough around the edges ( although nothing at all wrong with Aurora’s voice!) but recent acoustic performances have gotten a lot tighter, especially the two shows at Pryzm in London. She has said she can’t wait to perform it with her full band to give it the power it deserves, so I expect a totally different version to show up soon, perhaps in Glastonbury. By the way, if you have a chance you should watch this video of the entire second show at Prizm - even with feeling exhausted from the constant album promotion and being sick with a cold, her vocal performances are outstanding. And the last song (Invisible Wounds) brings her to tears, along with us.

I agree with you that the backup singer has some problems in this performance. I think some of the sounds are definitely out of tune, but it is difficult to do harmony while clapping hands (complex rhythm), so it really takes a high level to be her backup vocal. Hahaha Ps：Aurora is as good as ever.And i miss silja（her former backup singer）They are the best partners. 😢😢😢

This is not the best song in the world to translate to an acoustic version, though later performances did come out much better and less raw. She told one crowd that she's looking forward to being able to do the regular version when she gets her complete band. That will be very interesting to see, because even then, it will be hard to beat the production of the studio version.
It's great seeing Aurora so excited about this album. She said in a recent interview that she's shitting herself (her words) with excitement to perform this album live. I've never seen her so excited about one of her albums before. In fact, in one of her documentaries, she said it takes so long to release an album, by the time it's released, you already hate it. That is certainly not the case with this album!

Additional info. I agree that this harmonies was little off (the only thing that could be better :) ) + she lost it on very end and stop singing with Aurora:). They probably need more practice with this part - especially it is a little different version :).

This performance was the first time Starvation came to life for me. I think Amalie was recovering from a cold here, then Aurora got a cold. I usually cannot listen to the album songs because of the production and lifeless Aurora singing.

PS2. In the Pryzm second show they seems more in sync, but I prefer Aurora's singing on this earlier one, then she got a cold that removed a lot of energy.
