      Really appreciate that! Yeah purists might say I cheated, but well, if you don't have time for the 3-2-1 method this definitely saves a ton of time. Use that time to make and eat more ribs lol. BEAR DOWN!

    Peeling the membrane is the worst! I just score my ribs now lol. Cool that you roasted then grilled the ribs. Lost dog sweetness in your BBQ sauce. These look awesome. Greetings from Toronto looking forward to more recipes friend.

      Some people may say roasting then grilling the ribs is cheating. But well, if you want ribs and you don't have 6 hours to spend.... :-) Love Toronto. Wish I could visit again sometime. Thanks for watching Geoff!

    I’d agree with using that roasting rack as a heat shield. It helps create an indirect cooking setup and if you had a smoketube you could more or less have a homemade smoker setup. Have you ever tried starting with a BBQ rub, even dry brining it in the fridge prior to your first step? I’ve found it helps penetrate the meat with more flavor and creates a great bark. That being said I’m usually working with a smoker instead of a grill, so it’s a whole different party. You’ve definitely created a great process using your grill. Ribs look good!

      Thanks! Yeah this was my first time trying it this way and while delicious, could use even a basic rub. Definitely adding something next time.

    New to the Q and your channel. Awsome recipes. I know this is an older video, but I have one question though. How do you get the burnt bbq sauce off the grates? After I cooked bbq chicken it was so burnt on that the grill brush was pretty much ineffective. I had to scrape with a steel scraper. Im afraid I'll ruin the grates this way.

    • @ChicagoGriller
      @ChicagoGriller  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for joining! Your steel scraper won't ruin the grates, but you're right, some wet/sticky BBQ sauce will render your brush pretty useless. Your best way to clean these sticky sauces is turn the gas to high, shut the lid and let everything heat up as hot as it can get. After baking like that for 15-20 minutes, everything will be carbonized and your brush should be able to brush/flake it all off relatively easily.

    • @ChicagoGriller
      @ChicagoGriller  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would say the method is more like steaming the ribs… but finishing them off on the grill helps.

      @LeMishoK 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ChicagoGriller yeah steamed is probably a better word for it. Still not grilled. Still looking for a good receipe on how to grill ribs on Q to make em grilled with a smoky flavor and fall of the bone same time. Not a 6 hour cook though haha) That rack that you have should work for it somehow.

    Ribs on the grill tonight! I put a dry rub on them this morning, and when it gets nearer to dinner time I'll pop them on a rack in my electric pressure cooker for 25 minutes. Then 20 minutes on my Weber while bathing in BBQ sauce. Soooooo gooooooood! Very quick compared to any other method.

    • @ChicagoGriller
      @ChicagoGriller  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ChicagoGriller You should try it! Put the ribs on a rack in the pressure cooker, 25 minutes with a 15 minute release. Then finish on the grill, 10-20 minutes depending on how you like them. They come out great every time.

      There are a lot of ways to do ribs on a grill, but this is one of the fastest and easiest but just as tasty. One thing to do in the future is of course you can add some salt/pepper or your favorite rub before wrapping it in foil. Thanks for trying out this method and I am so glad it turned out well!

  • @colintett6872
    @colintett6872 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is without doubt the best recipe for pork ribs. I’ve just done it tonight and it was great. Congratulations from Australia!

    • @ChicagoGriller
      @ChicagoGriller  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awesome! I'm so glad! The only thing I would change to this is you can add a dry rub or even just simple salt and pepper before wrapping it up and baking. But yes, this method yields such tender, fall-off-the-bone results and the sauce is such an easy and marvelous modification to make. Tell all your friends! :-)

    • @colintett6872
      @colintett6872 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Awesome looking ribs. I usually bake my ribs in a mini oven because grilling it over open flame is not easy to do here. That is one thing I missed most. Nice content, keep that going

    • @ChicagoGriller
      @ChicagoGriller  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for stopping by! Yes I am a big fan of this method. The only disadvantage is not being able to get much (or any) smoky flavor, but the simplicity of baking or roasting the ribs is hard to beat.

    • @AmazingKitchen
      @AmazingKitchen 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ChicagoGriller Yes, the flavor on a grill just is the best, oven lack it big time.
