I'm so glad you said that the beaches there in Baja California Sur are among the best in the world A Brazilian couple (the guy was born in Brazil but raised in England) who have also traveled all over the world said exactly the same thing you said about the beaches in BCS I knew that myself & not knowing many countries that i fell in love with it that i have traveled 3 times by car to the Peninsula of Bajá California 🇲🇽 All the way down to Cabo San Lucas from Southern California USA 🇺🇸 Love your videos 😅
This was amazing, thanks so much for sharing. I'm currently living in La Paz and have not yet explored much of the area. This definitely encourages me!
It is all about the beaches! whether you enjoy the powerful surf on the Pacific or the calm waters of the Sea of Cortez....beaches here are definitely world class! Respect the power on the Pacific....there are safe places to swim but understand rip currents and if a surfer...well you are in for a treat! The beauty of places like Balandra Bay, Cabo Pulmo, and the Bay of Concepion are truly marvelous, breathtaking, and very swimmer friendly..good video!
I literally had a dream that I was in Baja California Mexico (I knew nothing about it)❣️ I have been looking into Puerto Vallarta but now I'm sold with Baja. It's everything I've ever imagined. After our wedding June 2022. We are coming to explore. Thank you for a beautiful video.
Great content, i am going to travel through the Baja California Sur area for the first time soon, this info will help me a lot, thank you, you are awesome!
I agree Baja Calif. Sur is a beautiful place to visit if you like to spend time in the water. I agree that Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del cabo are nice. Loreto and the waters nearby are just breathtaking. I spent 7 nights in 2019 at Villa del Palmar Islands of Loreto resort about 30 minutes south of Loreto. I did not want to come home. I have visited all the places in this video but Loreto is still my favorite. Thanks!
The La Comer Supermarket in San José del Cabo is awesome. Stumbled into it by accident to get some cash yesterday at the caracol mall. But next to it was a business selling storm shutters for hurricanes and that is why I prefer Todos Santos. It has the best weather in BCS.
Thank you very much for all your videos of BCS. I have enjoyed seeing footage of all the places I haven't been to and it makes me very happy that you enjoyed San Jose del Cabo the best because it's where my happy place is. Safe travels wherever you go next.
Thank you for the video loved it. I've never been to Mexico yet and was planning a trip so thanks to your video I get to see the wonderful sites and where they are located beforehand some of these places are so beautiful, thanks again
Buenos Tardes vagabunda. Thanks so much for your top 10 picks on the peninsula. We will be there in Jan. through & Feb. of next year. I want to reaquaint with some areas in B.C.N. that are different from but just as interesting as those in the South. From the Santo Tomas wine region to Bahia de Los Angeles and Bahia Gonzaga. Hope you can check them out at some point. Lobster, big Pismo Clams, abalone to mention a few delicious eats. Muchisimas Gracias pot todo. Joe
Hi Laura: Thanks so much for sharing these posts of BCS; it’s one of my favorite places in the world. I’m planning to visit BCS the month of May; which area(s) excluding SJ del Cabo & Cabo SL do you recommend staying for ideal water & air temps, availability of groceries, gas, hotels/airbnbs, friendly locals, great fish tacos, etc? Thanks in advance & Happy New Year!
Baja Sur certainly seems like a place many of us should visit and experience a desert terrain with an ocean. La Paz and San Jose seem to offer the best opportunities. Great work and thank for the interesting videos.
I am returning to San Jose Del Cabo for the Labor Day Weekend. I plan to check out Santa Maria Beach this time. I went to Puerto Escondido in Oaxaca last President Day Weekend.. Hopefully I return there again Have you been to that area before? Are there TH-cam videos you made from there?
Wish you would make a video on the cost of your stay in Baja California. (Airbnb, rental car, food and expenses). I would like to stay a month or two, based out of San Jose del Cabo. Ps: I’m purchasing your book as well. 😀
@@laura-bronner I thinking of getting a vacation place in Mexico. I’m going to go spend a month in San Jose del Cabo and then a month in LaPaz. We may fly boat or we may sail down from San Francisco. We we sail down and you are still around you will be definitely be invited out of a day sail with us. We are going to go and stay at a lot of places you went to. It was a perfect review for us. But I am definitely making a side trip to get those lobster tacos! Thank you again. Beat wishes stay safe.
Thank you for the amazing content, I really appreciate it. Which place in your opinion has the best surfing, and most beach front land for sale at an extremely low price?
No where in Baja has anything at an extremely low price, beachside or otherwise (although that's subjective I guess depending on what you think is low price?). The best surfing is on the west coast - look at Todos Santos, San Juanico (they have one of the longest waves in the world there!) and San Jose del Cabo as well. Depends on what time of year you plan to be there, it's better in different areas throughout the year.
My spouse and I are going in September, I got hooked on your channel when I start doing some research on La Paz. Great videos and that for making them. Do happen to know any fisherman that goes out in La Paz? Thanks again
Ok Laura, if you were to move back to Baja California Sur. Where would you move to that had it all. Also any other location or locations in Mexico that you recommend.✌️
San Jose del Cabo for sure, not even a question. If I were going to live there full time forevermore I would buy a car and a mountain bike. After living in Baja I would find it hard to choose somewhere else in Mexico to be totally honest. I think it's one of the best places to actually live if you love the outdoors and great weather. I also hate humidity so the climate is truly ideal for me. If you love hot sticky beaches (many do I've been told), then I also really love the whole coast around Puerto Vallarta - Bucerias, Nuevo Vallarta, and PV are all great cities with plenty of amenities and easy access to some of the best coastline in the country ( the beaches between PV and Manzanillo are some of my favorite in all of Mexico, but they're very cut off, so best for short trips not actually living in my personal opinion). Hope that helps a little bit!
@@laura-bronner Thanks Laura. I thought you would say San Jose del Cabo in Baja. I bought your book and I could tell you fell in love with del Cabo. Outside of Baja, I was thinking Puerto Vallarta as well. Thanks again for your kindness and Happy Holidays.✌️
Would love to hear comparisons in terms of pricing between BCS and the mainland. Mexican friends say BCS is quite a bit more expensive. They also warned me that cartel are more prevalent, I want to visit but it can be tricky when you're hearing conflicting info
BCS is definitely more expensive for a lot of things compared to some places in the mainland. It depends where you’re comparing it to of course and whether you’re planning to visit as a tourist or live there longer term.
