Nah dude, the Todos Santos they are speaking of is just north of Cabo (Pacific side) I've surfed and stayed at the lighthouse on Todos Santos Island (Off of Ensenada) Green Room indeed
@dave9351 I first read about Todos Santos Island in the 90's in Surfer Magazine. They had pics of Brock Little surfing massive waves there. Yeah, different than the town.
Thank you so much for your amazing YTs, very inspiring! We are seriously considering traveling to Todos Santos after watching your video. We EM'd Cien Palmas with some questions and haven't heard back after a week. Do you know if they are still open? Also wondering if you'd have to have a car to stay in town for a week? We'd rather rent bikes and get around that way. We're both daily bike commuters back home. Thanks for your suggestions! Looking forward to watching more of your videos!
They are still open. I believe their cafe is closed for the season as they do renovations. So it depends on when you wanted to visit! You'll love Todos Santos it's gorgeous! Although some parts will be tricky to get to on bikes alone. The paths to beaches are very deep sand normally and long rutted roads.
omgness Love you guys and =I'm the first to comment! (I always thought that was stupid until it was me) But guys I got my C Class she's almost ready to go! Thanks for the inspiration! "That Verde's the Jam" 😂
Hi Guys! Great video of the area. What are the prices for food and other goods like in Todos Santos? Freinds just returned from Cabo, they said prices at restaurants were comparable to Vancouver. Rents and groceries were also off the charts. Enjoy your travels!
It looked like Playa Las Palmas...very beautiful!! But as with many tourist spots, don't leave valuables in your vehicle. Access gate is sometimes closed by the private landowners.
There's Jazamango restaurant outside of town and the cafe in town. You have to walk through an art gallery to get there but it's on Google Maps if you search for it! Enjoy
The firs thing that hit me about Todos Santos was the colors - that lovely place is a riot of colors! The second - the food. I mean seriously, that food looked so delicious and I couldn’t even smell or taste it lol. What a wonderful place to celebrate your Anniversary - Happy, Happy! Safe travels wherever you are.
Such an amazing place! I love binging on your videos, especially of Mexico. It seems like you present a realistic picture of what the challenges and rewards are of traveling Mexico. It's so disappointing that some of the public lands have been abused and closed. I just don't get people who act like that! I'm sure your viewers aren't cut from that cloth, but I'm glad you take the time to remind people to camp gently and leave no trace. Thanks for your work producing these wonderful videos!!
Thank you Barbara! Love that you're binging our videos. We agree our viewers probably aren't the ones that need to hear the PSA haha but never hurts to remind others!
The pueblo mágico concepto have been an enormous success in México tourist industry. There are more than 150. And Todos los Santos is one of the most Special.
I visisted last summer on a complete baja roadtrip i did with two friends and my wife, i liked it and now watching this i want to go back and get to know it a little bit better, i do have to say i hated Cerritos, not because its bad but it had a really heavy douche surf vibe, typical spot like puerto escondido in Oaxaca where you constantly have to be "proving" yourself, really aggresive surf. I did eat really good tho ill defenitely go back but for surf scoprion bay is a million times better and way more chill.
Real Birria is not "beef" but based on Hernan Cortez's goats. or "goat, beef, lamb, mutton, or chicken." Started in Jalisco, now the Regional Dish in Northwest Mexico. Legend tells the story of goats in a cave during a volcanic eruption, cooked to perfection by steam. ❤❤ In Coahuila they have Cabrito Frito, a baby goat stew, as regional dish. Don't miss Monterrey's restaurant Rey de Cabrito! ❤❤
Thanks Mark. We've had birria in Jalisco and many other places. Birria de res is still authentic it's just not necessarily traditional. Cabrito Frito sounds delicious
Hi! that was a great video, thanks so much for sharing. I{m wondering how long did you stay total in Todos Santos? Do you feel like it was too much or you wish you stayed longer? Cheers!
@@EatSeeRV we’ve made so many friends over here that’ll be hard switch. We are hoping to come back with a Jeep as our tow vehicle next year to venture into the back country. There is a country road/trail from Barriles to Todos Santos that we want to explore. We also would like to spend a week or so over there in our motorhome. We head back to Canada tomorrow morning and are hoping some of the snowy weather up there stops lol. Best wishes!
Had breakfast treats at Taller 17 (yum!) and lunch at Cien Palms - yes, the restaurant is now open (met the owners). The food is delicious! Unfortunately Cerritos Beach is now closed for camping (as of a month ago) - developers closed it down. Staying at Cerritos Surf Town Beach Hotel (little casitas with thatched roofs right on the beach!). Will likely hit some of your other recommendations. Thanks for doing all you do!
Oh my gosh what a bummer to hear about Cerritos beach. I honestly feel it's better for the eco system but definitely a bummer for RVers. Glad you enjoyed both meals! 😊 Say hi to the owners for us if you see them again.
We’re laughing about how much we’re mimicking your suggestions. Thank you for the great information and the professional video. Can you tell me what camera you used? Stunning video and editing.
Oh wow - we did a day trip from La Paz to Todos Santos (a dozen years ago!) - same horses on the beach! Food has come a long way since we had our boat in La Paz.
We’re laughing about how much we’re mimicking your existence. Thank you for the great information and the professional video. Can you tell me what camera you used? Stunning work.
Gracias gracias Liz y Denis, hermosos videos we realy enjoy watching your videos and good vibe, i am curious about your new bike, do you like it , recommend it thank you 😀
Thank you so much! We do enjoy it. It's fun to be able to take it to places our scooter couldn't have gone. But it is a steep learning curve. Riding off road is totally different than anything Dennis has done before and is requiring a lot of practice. But we're enjoying it.
Perfect timing! I was just looking at Todos Santos and your video makes it look amazing! Have you seen the Hotel San Cristobal? It looks amazing but wondering if it’s too far outside of town?
That's next to the green room. It's gorgeous over there super unspoiled beaches. It's like a 20 to 25 minute drive down a bumpy dirt road to get to the Centro. So just depends what you're wanting

Todos Santos has been famous for huge gnarly surf since the 90's.
Nice! I don't think many people knew about it besides surfers. Today it's becoming popular by so many
Hence the restaurant on the beach named the Green Room

I'm an old surfer and found TS & San Pedrito in the '70;s. San Pedrito closed in 2002 after Don Paco Dominguez died. Was only Double Break in Baja.

It's very expensive. Los Cabos was slightly more expensive than todos. But LA or NYC prices for sure.
Now it’s just an oasis for way to many Americans
Happens in many places. Todos is still great and had many many local Mexicans there.
What was the name of the beach you went to at 3:04? Is there specific name for it so I can find it on a map?

"Todos Gringos" - this place is great if you don't go anywhere else in Baja
Sadly I am not surprised hearing what is most likely a bunch of gringos that are ruining those camping spots.
Definitely a bummer. People from all over, but yes lots of Canadians and Americans camping here.
its Baja California Sur not Baja California
