Nicely done. At the end when you started removing the tape, I thought "He should leave the acrylic on so it looks like an aquarium. But how would you get the black corner pieces?" And there you did it. Makes me think of an aquarium I had many years ago.

The way you got the fish to float in the resin was ingenious. For the edges though... Next time I'd recommend a paint marker. The permanent marker tends to come off the plexiglass in my experience and the paint markers will look a bit more solid. Absolutely glorious though. Amazing job!

Jedrek, this is a nice piece of work! In this case, the use of artificial plants is appropriate. Leaving the mold in place produces a very realistic effect. A beautiful whole!

A fun little thing if you ever do stuff like this of 'water' and want to simulate bubbles with out ya know, adding bubbles to the resin, go and look for 'UV Resin Bubble Beads' on the place named after a rain forest (I would give a link but youtube has been auto deleting all comments I make with links or even mentioning you know where for some dumb reason) you can arrange and mount them much like you did the fish to give off a nice stream of bubbles or just subtle flow like creeping from rocks or I assume that air filter? I've used them for underwater scenes myself and they are fine enough to give a nice realistic effect and the splash of faint color they add also helps them stand out even in colored resin. one such scene I did was for a friend who scuba dives in his local area picking up trash as he goes and I did a nice diorama of him diving, with one half looking dirty and the other half clear with fish following behind, and used these bubble beads for the bubbles from his scuba tank.
@@jedrek29t it's a generic name but if you look for that you get a bunch of listings of verying sizes and colors. it's worth experementing with them as some colors in clear resin can almost vanish (though look cool under uv light) while others show up nicely like proper bubbles.
That is very nice and soothing. That is one of two of my ideal fish aquariums. The other is my dvd of fish aquariums so there is no feeding no cleaning the tank and no scooping out dead ones. 😁
I know you’ve done something like this before but I think it would be neat to see another resin city diorama, perhaps one that lights up (like street lamps, lights in homes, etc.)

The next time you do a resin stand like you did with the fish with uv resin, use a silicone mat for an easier peel and you won't have to use a knife to remove it from the backing and it won't tear or stick
I like the video direction. I think instead of using a marker you could have used wood. However most basic are the same. The best way to ramp it up is to go beyond that point. That said at times the simplest paths is the best way to work on a project.
