The house looks great. Lol that was hilarious when Layla copied Carlin and said "anyways". Layla is so cute!!
Love where you guys are at so far with the decorating. a little suggestion: when you are finished decorating, you could get a small fridge for the playroom to keep the kids' food etc. This will help with the running up and down the stairs. all the best and of course, prayers for Carlin's quick recovery.
Layla is such a doll, her little voice is the absolute cutest thing!! 😍🥰 My husband has our house set up like that with all the lights too. I have to admit, it is really nice.

Extra time even when in health trouble is so difficult but I’ve noticed in my life and seeing you all it can be such a blessing. A blessing to slow down and be together and focus on healing and each other and family. What a beautiful home! Congratulations 🎉 Layla is such a ray of sunshine ☀️

I think you need a mantel over the fire place. It will warm it up and give you something to decorate and hang stockings at Christmas. You can buy one online from Wayfair or have one built. Maybe Carlin's brothers can make from some reclaimed wood.

Thank you for posting videos as it really helped me when my daughter had her first ever seizure yesterday. I was able to remain somewhat calm & knew that I should speak calmly to her as she went thru the seizure. I knew it would take a few minutes for her to come out of it. We are on to the next steps of figuring out why & how to help her. I want you to know that your channel has helped in a time when I least expected it. I am so grateful for you guys! The new house looks so beautiful and I am amazed at how things are all coming together! Prayers for Carlin’s good health! 💛🙏🏼

Hey everyone! Yay new vlog, loving the house! We have the same coffee grinder :)
My opinion on coffee nook….you want it near the water source and you out if the way. You’ll have toddlers for awhile and the danger of baby pulling that down is real. Boys like to climb! It’s much easier cleanup when the coffee stuff is near the sink and cabinets. And waking across the kitchen to restock mugs and supplies gets old. But… to each his own!
Overall you have a nice blank slate to add and rotate your desired personal touches. Really pretty house. The white color opened up the visual space even more.

Evan, I think you should go into something with electronics and setting up things like you did in other people’s houses. You’d be so good at it! Love your house! It’s beautiful!

It's only in America babies have to sleep in their room as quickly as possible. In other countrys todlers, at least babies sleep in parent's room. That's norm for us.

Yes! No shoes in the house is the way to go. It helps keep the floors clean and last longer (especially carpet).

Yay for friends in town! The house looks great. You did a nice job on the organization Carlin and on the “smart home” touches Evan. 😊 Whenever one buys a house, it’s almost always a work in progress unless you build from scratch. I love the entertainment room.
A hall stand with hooks and shoe storage and a bench would look really nice in the entry way and you will find it especially useful as the kids get older.

I love how Evan is a little embarrassed how he goes nuts over tech stuff. When we all had to stay home & work cooped up for coronavirus those few weeks everyone had to quarantine, I went a little overboard ordering & setting up all my tech stuff too & I still love it. I’d love to see tech videos, stuff like that.
Maybe reconsider the smart house. It could lead to issues with all the EMFs for Carlin's seizures. Izzy Rue is so cute.

I know there is no such thing as a perfect child... I just can't help to think, Layla seems to be as close as one "little one" could get! Zade looks so happy! The house looks great. There are so many things now, about shoes on & off. This is the new thing. Very recently, a friend in the carpet industry told us we shouldn't walk barefoot on carpets because the body oils in our skin are not good for carpet! Having downstairs slippers and upstairs slippers might be difficult for me to juggle around. I know I would forget to switch them out. Love you guy's. God Bless

Everything is coming together so nicely with your new house. A few things came to mind as I was watching the tour: #1.) Several old wooden orange crates, either stacked up or side by side make great shoe racks. 2.) If you treat the white couch with a Scotch Guard spray, it keeps most stains from setting in & liquid beads up instead of soaking through. Since pets, kids, & stains go hand in hand, I Scotch Guarded every surface from the floor to the ceiling & on everything in between (but the dog wouldn't sit still for her treatment, lol) when my brother's feral children descend upon & lay siege to my house. It's saved me a fortune in demolition costs. 3.) A couple of bean bags on the floor make a nice & cozy reading area for the kids bedtime stories. I really hope Carlin's health crisis improves & she gets answers. It's the "not knowing" that is the worst. At least when you finally get a diagnosis, you can move forward with a treatment protocol that will hopefully greatly reduce or even completely cure this condition. My brother had seizures when he was a child (from ages 2 to 8). His neurologist put him on a super low dose (just a few grains) of phenobarbital that kept them under control. He eventually outgrew them, thankfully. I wish you guys the best.

We also have a smart house and it is SO wonderful...until the internet decides to do crazy things! We have window blinds that go up and down on command and I really love that! My son-in-law is a techie and so he is always adding stuff!! Love your house, Layla is adorable and I can't believe how much Zade looks like Layla. I have been praying for Carlin and the entire family and will continue to pray for answers.

All you have to do is scotch guard the white furniture and anything that goes on it will be easily wiped off. Trust me I have a cream/ivory set and it was treated and what a blessing. Everything looks good

Evan caused my IPad to start talking when he was turning the lights on and off. I didn’t even know my iPad had that feature. 😂 Siri was telling me to set up my smart home. Lol
Against a lot of my families opinions I didn’t potty train until both of my daughters were ready. Both of them were fully potty trained by 3 when they were ready they only took a couple days to train and only my youngest daughter has ever had an accident and that was one time! My experience was great obviously that’s not what everyone goes through. Good luck with everything!
