I don’t ship them because of all the suffering Yul had to endure for 3 years because of her blood worm. Poor baby Yul was having nightmares every night about either killing his love or his love killing him, intense pain, couldn’t even train or fight because the blood worm would react, slowly going crazy and slowly dying. Plus her other crimes. I was moved in the end by her loyalty and sincerity to him (and also reveal the truth that no one else seemed to figure out and moved the plot along) but I feel if she had an alternative ending, it would be living in Seo Fortress with Yul around so she can have a nice life away from all the darkness but still being around her light. But I don’t see Yul ever falling for her. This scene was fantastic though. Minhyun acted really well esp when defending so-i’s body after she died. Yul is just so pure and despite her wrongdoings, he’s aware that she lives a pitiful life and felt bad for her

If I was afraid before that Seo Yul might die, now I'm not that afraid anymore. He might get to live. Seo Yul was such a pure character, that deserved all the best (I hope So-I died, even if she did care for him, she was the one putting him in danger by her stupidity and because of her, many people got tortured and died). However, I have to say, tonight's episode... something in his character disappointed me. In season 1, I completely agreed with him when he said Naksu should be eliminated (even if he loved her, it was right to take responsibility). But... it surprised me. Where was the purity of his heart when he did not think it through this time? He was still going to kill Naksu? Why? Was he not interested why she was alive, what happened exactly, in more details, and if now was the situation as dangerous as it was in the past? Granted, he wanted to kill her and himself in one single blow, like in his imagination, but... I do not agree with him, this time. I have to say... both Jang Uk and Seo Yul kind of... disappointed me a little regarding their actions towards Naksu / Cho Yeong / Jin Bu-Yeon. I did not like her character that much in season 1, her soul was too dark back then even if ultimately she was a victim then too. It took Jang Uk back then to make her soul more kind, and not like a killer anymore. But in this season, she was from the start a pure soul, kind. So I do not like even the littlest bad attitude towards her. She has suffered enough. I am so glad Jang Uk has warmed up to her considerably since episode 4 (and it was her he kissed and he was not dreaming, I was not expecting that!), their scenes give me butterflies in the stomach. I can watch 100 episodes with only just those kind of scenes, but that would be too much fan service, I suppose. In any case, I am glad the show kept Jang Uk and Seo Yul's friendship intact the whole time, regardless of the situation. I hope Seo Yul gets a happy ending and I hope Jang Uk and Naksu get a happy ending, too. Although I am afraid both Jang Uk and Naksu will die this time around, too. But maybe more decently, this time. I love these characters. I love Cho Yeong this season (she's probably my favorite character this season), she's adorable and kind and I feel like protecting her from all kinds of evil. I love Jang Uk (loved him in first season 1) - a good, smart boy who proves he's worthy of a mighty fate by his actions, feelings and thoughts (the King Star is just a bonus, the way he is proves why he deserves to be the one having the King Star, and not because of the circumstances of his birth). This season, he's clearly the lead male way ahead any other male characters (while in the first season, I felt like Seo Yul could have a chance of competing with him in everything, even though I knew he was still behind Uk a bit, but I thought Seo Yul was pretty impressive and still is). Not gonna lie, I feel guilty for liking a darker mode Jang Uk, but his moments of seriousness in season 1 are what gave me butterflies back then, too. I like the intensiveness. So I was happy that this season he has way more intensiveness, haha. I love Seo Yul for the purity of his heart, for being diligent, a good boy, a good friend, for doing the right thing, for getting lost when flustered (that is so adorable, it kills me!), for getting sick because of doing a bad thing / covering a bad thing. I also like these characters when they are on top of situation - nothing compares to seeing a good male character, being on top of situations, being ahead of bad guys. Everything else is just

Yul and So-i..the couple that didn't happen. It was clear that Yul was no longer hung up on Naksu for the fact he went to So-i's rescue and was shown to be truly hurt by what was happening to her at that time and how he was affected by her death. The whole 'burial' of her shows that he had found someone to care about but was taken from him. Two people who were willing to risk everything for one another. Had she had survived; he might have given into his feelings for her.
Just another thought on Master Lee saying Bu Yeon would eject Naksu from her body, Bu Yeon deliberately made sure she would be the receptacle of Naksu soul during the soul shifting. Maybe Bu Yeon could see that was necessary for what danger there is now. Also if she kicks out Naksu she will kill her AND lose her sight again. I think they will metamorphasize into one person in order to share the body. Maybe....

When there were flashbacks of Master Lee healing Naksu, he said that Bu-yeon's soul is no more, but that if Naksu regains her memory, she will still be expelled from the body. But I hope that even if she does regain her memories, she will not be expelled from that body and she will continue to have the face of real Naksu and not Mudeok / real Jin Bu-yeon.
What if buyeon’s soul transferred to the Ice Stone when So-I broke it on season 1 ? (not sure if that’s possible though) Remember when old and young buyeon was talking to mudeok? i actually found it very strange as well. because in first or second episode when master lee was talking to bu yeon's mother he explained the bu yeon's soul is gone and its only her body in which nuksu's energy will keep it going.. so it didn't make sense when he commented like that.. on other hand i could see how sub consciously this current version of bu yeon/nuksu is flawlessly loyal and driven to protect jang uk.. they should now release all 4 episodes next weekend.. curiosity is reaching it's peak :D

i actually found it very strange as well. because in first or second episode when master lee was talking to bu yeon's mother he explained the bu yeon's soul is gone and its only her body in which nuksu's energy will keep it going.. so it didn't make sense when he commented like that.. on other hand i could see how sub consciously this current version of bu yeon/nuksu is flawlessly loyal and driven to protect jang uk.. they should now release all 4 episodes next weekend.. curiosity is reaching it's peak :D
