- Headed out to do some truck camping in a big snowstorm! Local snow totals of 11-14 inches were reported in less than 24 hours, breaking a few records in the process. The snow made for a nice relaxing trip in the camper!

I have wondered for a long time about what can be done to prevent the dripping water from the glass door hinge. It is a ver common annoyance.

I can relate. I'm in NE Ohio and on Christmas Eve day it started snowing in the afternoon. It just kept falling and by noon on Christmas Day we had 12 inches under 24 hrs. One foot! I have lived here all my life and have never seen that much snow in that short of time!

I have a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT with a plain aluminum camper shell. I'm pretty sure it with contain a twin mattress perfectly. I have camped that way before with an older, but similar sized Toyota pickup; but it has been over twenty years. I agree with camping at an electrified spot--handy for my electric heater, hotplate, and C-PAP machine which I need for sleeping. I hope to do some camping like you do before it warms up. Good vid. I subscribed...

Hi I have recently started watching your vlogs and am enjoying them. Kippers are herring just cooked in a different way. The Brits love them for breakfast. Take care.
Glad you went out for a exploration walk. Not sure how long of a hike you do, but with the whole day I would burn 2-4 hours. Bundle up, but wear a wicking base layer (not cotton) as you will work up a sweat. A small pack will give you everything you need, emergency blanket, food, flint or other fire starter. Perhaps a walking stick, but unlikely you are going to have much in the way of undulations in the good life of NE. As for Top Gear, a must watch is the Bolivia special. Its the best episode, funny, but I think truly challenging for them (not entirely scripted) and incredibly beautiful. Clarkson is driving my favorite ....a Range Rover Classic.

Probably because he is no thrills no acting.....for me the feeling of getting away for a day or two and the relaxation that temporarily comes with it ....I feel as though I am too enjoying the peace and quiet although I'm not in reality it's just absorbed
Cleaning the driveway of snow would be a fun episode.
You could use the from a storage tote to place your boots on and the lip around should contain the melt at mud from them

You need a mini stove to cook or boil water . Cannot just eat junk foods lol . Raman noodles and throw some slice ham in would make a good meal during a snow storm .
I have 2 stoves in the truck, I was just being lazy

I noticed that you have a Harley Davidson sticker on your back window, you ride? I've got a couple vintage bikes, a 64XLCH and a 68FLH. I grew up with bikes, my dad was in an MC before I was born so I always had a ton of crazy biker Uncles.

Its in Amazon, it may be that its not available in your geographic location right now
you should add battery powered wipers for your windows in your truck bed so u dont have to get out and wipe ur windows when there wet or snowy!!!
You should get one of those tents that fit over the back.
I've thought about it but I think I'd rather just have a big canvas tent separate from the truck that I could run a wood stove in

@@coachbulldog4917 i got one but it needs work and im not even sure if its going to 100% fit. Going to trade a headache rack for it and the only plus side of it probably is that its aluminium.
@@MooCraftingShop id make sure it fits before the trade...i almost bought one that i measured wrong. Luckily i didn't pay for it until i came back to try an load it into the truck.
