As a person suffers from severe anxiety, this was powerful. I'm not ashamed of my mental illness. The struggle is real, everyday, but I fight also everyday to live life.

I’ve been battling with bipolar depression for 30 years now before there were “mental health “ issues were a thing. Now everyone is jumping on the train. I don’t give a damn about a “stigma” . Whether people think weird of me or not it’s not going to make us bipolar people better. I don’t know the answer but it sure ain’t gonna make things better by “awareness “. And CBS news is the last place I’d want to be reporting on this stuff. I’m happy that this woman is getting better and making some money off her book. That is good.

I've been battling Bipolar Type 1 for ten years, and I can safely say that bringing awareness to these illnesses is a good thing. I've never encountered so much prejudice in any other disease. I hope more videos come out about people struggling with mental illness.

@@rstewart2691 everyone has a “mental illness” now. Society calls mass murders people with mental illness. Would you like to be lumped in with those people. There are a lot of people out there that have just been coddled all their life and when they get stressed they act out in anger and call it “mental Illness “. This is a slap in the face to people like me who are really suffering and trying.

Since they caused it, our political leaders need to stop the stigma.

How do I understand what's in the ingredients to psychiatric medication? It's not like looking at the "label" and "nutrition" in food at the grocery store. Or say, it's FDA approved. How do I know that the ingredients in my psychiatric medication is KOSHER, VEGAN, or in general, "healthy"? Is it toxic? Is it poisonous? I worked at a company that use to put damaged liquids from Ensure in hazardous materials to be sent off. Is my medication, after this, mean it's most likely dangerous?

"i have bipolar disorder, suicidal tendencies and severe depression. Let me have kids now, so they can have it too"
Seriously, at what point does a harmless child wish become child abuse?
