Cops were called on me last year cause I shot one in my backyard (I’m in the city limits). Cop that came out looked at the snake asked why I shot it. Then said. Cool. Nice shot. Have a good evening. You gotta protect your family. They gotta go. 🤷🏼♂️

Born in Decatur, TX in "52...raised by a country boy Baptist pastor and hunting and fishing was our time as father - son. Raised my own two boys the same way and they are raising there's that way now. So good to see you and Amber doing the same. I agree with you guys that the only good snake is a dead snake when it's near my abode. Y'all keep it up....only been a subscriber for about two months but am blessed by your content...and am impressed by how you are pressing onward after the loss of River and continuing to love and raise your kiddos in the nurture of the Lord. I started to listen to your work after I saw you through Lunkers, LFG. My youngest daughter and I love country music and a year ago she gave me my first Grandchild Alfie who I call "Bug". I have only just found this channel and you have a lovely family. Not going to lie. I have never been hunting, and don’t think I ever will. I’m not against hunting for food, but I’m totally against trophy hunting. As for rattlesnakes? Go get ‘em. You could never offend me as I have come to know that you and Amber speak with a pure heart. I can feel it. Love your family.
