You cannot really refer to Henry as "the English King". The King of England would be more appropriate because the Normans and then Angevins nobles who ruled England (as well as the nobility of England) had nothing "English". They came from France, were French speaking, and considered their lands in France far more valuable and basically used English ressources to defend them

Can you do the battle off Samar? I feel like it hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves.
If you haven’t heard of the battle off Samar, it is basically the best example of a David vs Goliath battle where the American fleet of 7 destroyers successfully fended off the entire Japanese fleet of several battleships, cruisers, and destroyers. The battle was so one sided with such great heroics on the American side that if a movie were made today on it it would be dismissed as too unrealistic.

You forgot the hundreds of aircraft the Americans had during Samar, while the Japanese had none, as well as the huge technological gap in fire control, damage control, recon and communications. Not to mention the Japanese were operating on a time constraint seeing how the main US fleet was on its way back. It was nowhere near a david vs goliath scenario.
