Hi Les, it really does, I heard it before I saw it as I walked up to the railway! I had to film and share this lovely locomotive with everyone. All the best, Matt

I'm surprised it has one, it seems locomotives that size tend to have very white ones, then again I don't own one

Nice video. If I didn't have too many hobbies, building one of these or something like it would be on the list. There's a outdoor railroad club not that far from me. Interestingly, I've ridden on the Cripple Creek and Victor Narrow Gauge Railroad in Colorado.

Thank Mule, I'm tempted to build something American! I have all the plans for a Lucky 7 Forney, which is huge in 7.25" gauge. All the best, Matt.

Thanks Kev, I didn’t plan on making a video that day, but the weather was nice and as I walked up to the railway I could hear this fabulous locomotive and I just had to share it. You will have to come visit the railway one day if your ever near on a sunny Sunday. All the best, Laterzzzzzzzzz, Matt

Ahhh bliss! Normal service on a Friday lunchtime... As someone who must confess to having an aversion to American locomotives, I think I am starting to be cured. Lovely loco and some wonderful footage. Is she as lively on the track in real life as she appears in the film? Might benefit from some damping? Thanks for posting Matt. Just think, your loco will be doing this one day! Fancy a day of double heading sometime? Hmm now what height did I set the coupling block? G🤓

Well I do have the plans for the Lucky 7 Forney...... and we do have a soft spot for American narrow gauge. As for the Damping, I have no idea I'm afraid. Yes our locos will be doing this........One Day! Double heading, most definitely sir!

That's a "Sweet Creek " 2-6-0 designed by Keith Watson in Western Australia

Hi Iain, interesting, one for me to research. The owner of this one said the castings came from America, maybe he meant Australia?! We have a soft spot for American locomotives, my Dad is a huge fan of the Sandy River. All the best, Matt

The loco was originally designed by Keith /Watson engineering and he sold the design to RMI Railworks in the USA, I am building a 2-8-0 version I bought from Kieth in 1997 and wanted it to be like the 1911 Baldwin's that went to Cuba I'd sent you a picture but aren't on Facebook or Twitter
