Maybe you don't know Tom's come up but he's been at this for ten years and trust me it's not easy to get yourself out even on social media unless you actually have something to say and you're actually talented and Thomas comes that better than any other independent artist

4:27 Tom wrote Dear Rappers as he smoked a half a cigarette he saved while running an extension cord to the neighbor's house to power his fridge. His girl got screwed over while signed to Def Jam so I'm sure that only solidified his sentiments toward the industry

Today may make it easier for some but it still takes grinding and a lot of effort that many don't want to put toward their craft and they'll still take the easy way out and sign with a label instead. Sad, but true. Independent artists need to wear a lot of different hats and many just don't want to work that hard to get themselves out there. Really good reaction! #HOG❤
