Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited is the wholly owned Indian subsidiary of German automotive manufacturing company Volkswagen Group.
On 7 October 2019, Volkswagen Group India announced the merger of their three Indian subsidiaries - Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd (VWIPL), Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt Ltd (NSC) and Škoda Auto India Pvt Ltd (SAIPL) - into a single entity named Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd with headquarters at Pune. Gurpratap Boparai was appointed as the first Managing Director of Škoda Auto Volkswagen India.[3]
They focus on manufacture and sales of Volkswagen, Audi and Škoda vehicles in India. Volkswagen Group brands Porsche and Lamborghini also sell their cars in India through them
The company operates two manufacturing plants. The first plant at Chakan, near Pune, Maharashtra was previously owned by Volkswagen India with an annual capacity of 200,000 vehicles. The other plant in Aurangabad, Maharashtra was previously operated by Škoda Auto India and mainly used for CKD assembly of Volkswagen, Škoda and Audi vehicles. In 2020, Škoda launched their first ever imported compact SUV model, the Karoq.
Volkswagen has an engine assembly facility (an extension to the previously mentioned plant) built in 2015 at a cost of 240 crore (710 million euro) approximately at their state-of-the-art factory in Chakan, Pune respectively. I am shocked that with these kind of facilities how come they missed the door noise issue and rattling issues. Sir can you also ask them if they have any plan to add insulation layer in near future?
In current crop of cars, there is no rattling. Initial batches including my Slavia had.
I have a vw virtus , it has done 4k kms .. there are plastic noises in both front doors, every time when it passes through a road breaker. But the video is really good @sunderdeep singh .. nice work bro

Rear discs with Electric Parking (Auto-Hold) de do yaar, Mumbai jaisi 100% stop go traffic me bohot dikkat hoti hai bina uske.
Is ek reason ke wajah se nahi li 2.0 wali gaadi. At least GT variants me toh de do VAG.

Seems like my slavia is not tested at all, Am still testing it since 6 months found 5 issues and resolved are 3, not sure what they will check , underbody Compressor oil.lekage is also there for my car .....If there is atleast one car that passes through with issues then it's fail right...Volkswagen should do serious testing for each car ..pata nahi oo Jo underbody check kar ra ..oo under ground me Sora 😂

If Yes, than door Rattling & Screeching noise from Dash & Brakes kaise nahi patta chala bhai.
OR yeh bhi ho sakta hai bahot complains & defects ke Baad all Cars are tested.
When can buyers expect Underbody engine protection plate & Insulation under the bonnet hood to be installed in all new Cars. Maybe customers can buy them from Service Stn as Spares.
They test each & every car. They literally don’t rattle during the drive. Also brake noise thing is overly exaggerated. It is there only on the incline.
VW and Apple are miles ahead of their competition in their respective industries.
Let's not compare them with chapri brands like Oneplus, OPPO, Vivo, Hyundai and Kia.
And the ones who buy inferior products, they target them.

Parts are not stocked well in advance by VW dealerships. I own Polo TSI Manual Highline Plus, which has same 1 leter TSI engine that is mass market mainstay of VW/Skoda, and I got engine check light glowing, which the dealer's mechanic diagnosed as missing in engine due to coil problem.
VW dealership could not provide simple parts such as coils for turbo engine as they were stocking coils only for non turbo MPI engine and it will take seven days to arrive the coils from VW factory.
Simple lack of foresight in stocking parts got my car stranded at VW workshop for seven days, incurring financial losses for me as I was without car to my workplace.
VW needs overhaul of best practices to be followed by their dealerships, till then their service experience will vary according to dealer to dealer.

now i understand y they have low ground clearance, tey are reading the rule book. None of the potholes or speedbreakers in Mumbai as this small. Go and check those on the roads VW folks, maybe ur eyes are closed and far from reality? small test tracks mean nothing and these are mild tracks, maybe its only to check parts fitting and any unusual noise.

Surprised that despite this test track, they couldn’t prevent the rattles in production vehicles.

Agree that it’s fixable. And not that big a deal. Just feels perplexing that despite having tested in such conditions, how could they let rattling cars sell. Should have diagnosed and fixed pre production.
