Man, Mat and Tim know there stuff! I had a tray of chatter baits since they where created and only fished them once or twice, because I didn’t believe they worked. I damn near gave them all away! I watched the Tactical Bassin’ video regarding chatter baits and applied what was taught, now I’m a certified chatter fanatic! That was only one of the many video’s that raised my bass I.Q and catch ratio! Thanks guys!

This long form content is so valuable! Thank You!! Can you please do a long form video like this going over BOTH of your top pick for combos (Rods + Reel) for EVERY TECHNIQUE? all in ONE VIDEO even if it's 2 hours like this one??? This info would be extremely valuable as well! A lot of us dig through your videos to see what Rod and Reel combos you are using. It's a great starting point to branch out from. In a few of your High End Combo videos you have some lists in the description, but there is no real explanation as to why you picked that particular rod and reel combo. A long form all in one sitting video going through every technique and every combo pairing would be awesome! Especially heading into the Holidays. You could even do two videos, one for the High End, and One for the budget angler. Just an idea. Cheers!!

I crushed bass on the 6" magdraft this year, I fell in love with it ..and all hollow belly swimbaits now. I was amazed at how much it got bit during the shad run
Almost had my heart stopped, thought Christmas came early and thought we finally got a uncut fishing video! haha. Still an amazing video Matt. I think a lot of new fisherman are intimidated by swim baits(The jointed ones). This is a great video for them to watch. I'm slapping that like button.

Yes I’ve been waiting for this video!! I love down the rabbit hole videos!!!😂 I just started using swimbaits less than a year ago and it’s one of my favorite technique now. Today was my birthday so I went and got a new got a new shimano SLX swimbait rod and paired it with a shimano 150xg curado DC. It’s my first “not budget” combo so I’m hoping to love it!!!

We appreciate you blessing us with the knowledge. I’m from NJ and our bigs aren’t like your bigs or the bigs out west. But I still got hooked on the swimbait game and primarily because of guys like you and Tim, and TW always being on top of the latest trends and how they work with guys like you two to put this information out there for all of us. There’s a channel called KeepinItRealFishing and he’s a NJ angler who primarily fishes for big bass . He’s also hooked on the swimbait game. He’s proof that even up here in the North East this information is still very useful. We may not get those 10-15 lbs but there’s plenty of 6-9 that are worth chasing. The mega bass dark sleeper 1/4 oz translucent yellow line absolutely dominated the water for me this year. I got my hands of the sleeper gill in a shad color and nailed huge smallies great lures

Caught my first 4 big softbait fish in Maine using the RTF Savage Gear (2 smallies at 4# and 2 Largie 5 and 6# class... I eventually casted my only 3 big baits off and had a bigger one break me off while trying to yak flip her (I'm addicted now!) THANK YOU GUYS for showing me a way to gain confidence to throw these baits in my home state where bass don't get 'giant' haha a few 6s and now I'm hunting an 8!!! Awesome cadence suggestions!
